maybe im too stupid, but i really would be so proud to beat John twice in the same event instead of making a thousand dollars without beating him.

money comes and goes, Im with you Engin, to ever be at the level to beat him twice would be worth a million bucks

I'll settle for beating him just one time and taking home the thousand dollars. ;D

Ron Bath, please dont vote because you have already tasted the feeling of beatin brzenk twice and won the event:)so you probably would choose the money:)

Very much like my point in other thread, when I thought Travis's statement was a little shallow.
Money is great but the victory and title lives on for ever.
Hopefully there will be both in the future

Guy,i dont exactly know how many years you are older than me,but it must be at least 10,im 30.im sure that at your prime times you have won tournaments that had prize money.now take a look to your past, are you more proud of a few thousand dollars that you made by armwrestling, than being a true world champion?

Just curious on what people think John is known for? I believe he has only one WAF Title.

John Brezenk is known as the King of armwrestling, the very best.. Engin I could pull grandmasters this year 50 years old. Lets put money into perspective. The most money I won was for 2nd place in 1986 $5000 at Over the top. Finishing 2nd to Johnnie Walker out of 82 competitors in my class was a feeling I will never forget. Where is that $5000 now I Have no clue

he is an exception,he is an exception about many things.this s why he will always be the best.but seems like ppl cares more about prestige than money.are there another man who beat 102 guys in a row including the 2003 worlds super heavyweight champion twice?
John has nothing to prove, but there is not another John Brzenk.he also proved that he can gain a WAF title even with his weaker arm.and we have his word that he will represant his flag in japan this year, and i believe there is no money.how many of you has seen John competing without prize money?why is he gonna do that??

you have finished 2nd place to Walker between 82 armwrestlers!! great job Guy,i didnt know that.now i have another reason to respect your career.im sure that its a better feeling to tell your grand kids(if you have )that you are a world champion than telling them that once you have made 5000dollars in armwrestling.

this s why i made an option about a thousand dollars,im sure that to certain ppl even 5 bucks is more important than beating the legendary Brzenk, who will be the best forever.

I agree with Guy , the money will be long gone and forgotten. The memory of the match/tourney will live forever. I'd take the 2 wins , but I'd be tickled to beat him once , or even slow him down !!! If he goes to Japan , at what weight is he going to pull?
