Again I left out Matt Harris, man the guy can get no respect, what little I have heard about him makes him out to be quite a formidable puller, he has as much of a shot at the rest of the group named.

I have only seen video of Matt Harris, but from what I've seen, he looks like he is tough to beat in a long match, much like a Mike Shalhoub or a Bill Sinks. If he shows, he will definately have a say.

I have to share some words about my friend and teammate Mr Matt Harriss. Matt is an extreamly powerful and experienced puller who deserves the upmost respect. He is definetely not one that should be underestimated -he took some time out of the sport - and is now training hard and is PULLLING GREAT!!!!!!! Look for Matt to be on top when the dust clears.... This class is WAY to tough to call. It may come down to luck of the draw. Good luck to all the 154s.

Christian, I grew up in the casino industry so I don’t believe in luck, though I will take some fortunate happenstance whenever I can get some. It will be a very tough class, plus those people we have not even discussed. I just hope to be able to hang in with these guys. I will see you there.

Nicole I really meant Matt no disrespect actually I was embarrassed by the fact that I had twice left him out of my posts, when I hear such great things about him. I will be glad to finally meet the man.

Simon, Please -- I know you didn't mean any disrespect... I think we have talked enough to know that you are more respectful than that.. C'Mon Buddy! I was just simply backing Matt.... He's awsome - on the table as well as away from the table! Nicole

There are so many good armwrestlers out there in every weight class that it is tough to remember them all without forgetting some (by accident, of course).
I think this year's nationals will be one to remember.

Simon, Matt is as much a gentleman as he is a great puller he would bear no ill will I can asure you. I got to pull him extensively at the Harley pull after the event. I weigh substancially more than him so it is not fair to judge him by me. I was able to control him in the straps and without but I can tell you you are better off not in the straps with him he is very smart with placement and leverage and he is patient he will wait for the right time. Simon you hav a substancial hook from what I hear it would be the best place for you to go against Him as well as avants he is gonna hook you anyway so you will see there also I have pulled him many times also again I outweigh these guys so it is not fair to judge by me. He has no hook for me but he does have a lot of hook for a 154 .....good destiny Simon you will be fine

Simon pulled amazing and deserved to place so highly. R.J. is still shaking off some of the rust from his surgery and will be back. I finally got to talk with Bryon Thomas and watch him in action. He has the most fantastic hook I have seen on a 154. When RJ gets healthy I am sure he is going to have some say as to who is the better 154. And I know Bryon has beaten Jerry Avants in a hook before. I would like to see them collide again. BTW, his brother Mark has one fantastic hook himself.
