Not trying to stir the pot, but Jim I'm with you on this one man. I'll put up $500.00 so that is $2500.00 to you Chris. We'll do it the best out of three matches if you would like. Boy you must be glad I did not take you up on that Christopher Myers

Chris, Wow, what happened to that whole humble thing Luckily you didn't call me out with the betting either. I was for Craig and probably would be again if they go at it with a rematch. History shows that Battles and I are pretty even. You're really confident right now, and I guess I should run for cover until I'm fully recovered. I just returned to work this week after surgery to repair torn cartiledge in the right wrist, and have been cleared to start back with the weights. I've got a lot of healing and training to do before I even think of locking up with you at Nationals this year. Keep training hard and we'll "Hook?" up when the time is right. Jim

Craig's conditioning was superior to Mike's. Craig looked capable of pulling at least 3 more matches.
Mike was in trouble of losing the Supermatch until he switched sides at the table. There were 2 refs watching one side of the table and only 1 ref watching the other side. Prior to this Craig had a the momentum of 2 matches and Mike was collecting fouls.
The AAA rule that if your opponents elbow comes off the back of the pad you get a foul is asinine and ripe for abuse.
Your elbow Your pad Your responsibility
'The slip in a losing position is a match' rule should be waived for critical matches like the deciding bout of a Supermatch or the finals at big tournaments.
When I rule the world, this rule will also be tossed on the dust heap of Arm Wrestling's bad ideas.

I would like to apologize for my last post I guess I had aggression from colletti's post. the implication thatI would welch on a bet even if minute made me a little mad. It is not fair to disrespect James Battles that way. he is a great puller and I respect his accomplishments. I just dont like any implication that I would not be honorable with a wager and I dont like when someone would imply that any wager I am in with somebody would be a sure thing to collect on Christopher Myers

Jim, I would take that wager with Mike and Craig again anytime and I am sure they will pull again so you will be first to get wager if you want it As far as pulling James I am humble but I dont like when people imply that I have no chance against someone, especially when the very first time I pull them I beat them convincingly. I know the tides can reverse but deep down inside I dont view James as someone who could never beat me , as some do me not being able to beat him. I just dont like the implication that I am not in the mix. Also I would much rather pull James than you because your style is what I have the most trouble with. James is the style I have the least trouble with. That is what makes armwrestling interesting after reading your post I did the correct thing and apologized Christopher Myers I do beleive that to imply that James B. over me is an easy win is disrespectful Mike Bowling thought I was an easy win also

Chris, I just got home!!! What a trip!!! I had to stop and watch my Patriots kick butt which took another 3 hours!! Sorry Todd C but...GO PATRIOTS!
I never would imply that you would ever even consider getting out of the second half of our bet. I was just trying to set it up as soon as possible. It will not be a super match like what took place in NC. It will simply be you two meeting in the course of a tournament. There was no need for anger at any point. This is what I tried to avoid by paying Mike S the 500 last night. James B is more than just a terrific puller; He is a great person and friend.(More like family). There was never a need to go anywhere with him or bring his name into it. I would not take anything away from your win against him and will not now. I think that he will beat you and that part of our bet still stands. For those who may be wondering Chris M never tried to collect on the first half of the bet. Mike S was the one who approached me for it and given his circumstance and his desperate need at that time for cash I gave it to him. As a matter of fact Chris M said on the phone to me not to worry about the payment until he and James met but with Mike Selearus in need of money and Chris owing him it I accommodated him. (Also on Mike's behalf I don't think he would have been upset had I not payed either, I just decided it was the thing to do to help him out.)
Knowing now that the Can AM's and Todds tourny are in fact not on the same day will you be coming down? James will be there and he will be pulling but like I said let's just have the match in the course of the tournament. first time you guys meet counts that's it. Ok?
Quick Case in point: Everyone says you are a nice guy. I have known Shane Alger for 7 years and we are great friends but more important he is 100% a nice guy. I could never see him attack a different puller than he is angry with. Again I don't see where the anger would come from. You did not try and avoid the bet..you were sick...I know that. Let's go party in Albany!

Todd,
Congrats on your kids performances! Without a doubt the cutest display I have seen. The love for you truly shows! For those who missed it, it would have touched your heart.

Chris, i have not been feeling myself lately all the medicine is making me very uncomfortable and very nausseus ( Kant Spel ) I have at this point lost 11 lbs since I started the antibiotics they are giving me. my wife has complained that I am grumpy sorry. We cant be nice all of the time ( HA HA ) I will come to the battle of the giants but you got to set it up as first match I will not put 500 on a match with someone when they could draw a light bracket and I could draw a hard one. PERIOD it would have to be first match, does not have to be a supermatch but in the natural course of the event does not work for me. I am not going to Draw Ron Bath and then pull Jim right after no way no how. Make sure that this is OK before I buy a plane ticket Christopher Myers

Shane is a nice guy and a gentleman, ask him to read the posts and if he says I was an ass then I will apologize even harder, ask Shane if he thinks I am a nice guy I trust his opinion and honesty Christopher Myers
