he was the only one thats beat John that John has never beat back I could be wrong but I think John is 0-1 against Alexey Voevoda. I really hope they don't finish filming Pulling John just yet. You have the long awaited supermatch with Jerry Cadorette. Dave Randall is back and stronger than ever. Alexey is making a comeback and now this monster from John's past is apparently coming back. They should have all these monsters pull at the Mohegan Sun Worlds this year – now THAT would make for some good ratings.

I do believe that John never got to pull Kareav again either. There would be another one that John would have to take on.
This is starting to sound like Chuck Liddel's UFC career.
Avenge all that have beaten you. Then and only then will they love you John.

Big Americans….ya gota love it. ;D Scott Norton back in the MIX of heavyweights….very NICE. Now we are talking... BIG power inside. With all the exciting stuff you have done in wrestling Scotty it will be very exciting to have you back in the sport of armwrestling. Look out World ….the US heavyweights just got a bit better.

Nice job, Jason Waldron! This would be great! Plus, it would not only shake up armwrestling, but it has the potential to draw big attention to the sport. I hope you make it back, Scott Norton! AND, I have to admit, I like it when "we" 40-somethings start shaking things up... (hey, it's the only way I can put myself in the same category as these two legends...!)

Harold, i respect your opinion about heavyweight at that time being tougher than today's heavyweights, even though i am not sure about that. who were the heavyweights of that time that were greater than today's heavies?Bobby Hopkins,Virgil Archierio,Cleve Dean,Scott Norton and some more.for sure John was not at his prime,Goodridge's prime was in 90s,Lupkes became a monster after Scott retired and there was no armwrestling in eastern european countries when Scott left the sport. so today,we have John Brzenk,Alexy Voevoda,Travis Bagent,Farid Usmonov,Matt Girdner (until not too long ago).i am not sure how the current best heavyweights (except Brzenk and Voevoda) would do against Cleve Dean at his prime but other than him most of these athletes would beat the rest of super heavies of that time(excluding Norton),JMO. I'm not the biggest expert but I think Armwrestling now is for sure a higher level as it was 10-20 years. Maybe John can tell it to us what is his feeling.

Has Scott ever armwrestled Richard Lupkes? hello Bob, i remember of reading an article about the unmet challenge of Richard Lupkes vs Scott Norton on Armbender Magazine from late 80s.the author was thinking that Lupkes would win the match. anyways,i better go away before i miss the sea bus to istanbul this weekend is our nationals.it will be held in Corum,a city in central Turkey.166 pounds by this morning finally i made the weight without sauna but still have a few pounds of fat on my belly good luck to all who will be pulling this weekend at Armwars and Bulgaria, and next weekend at AAA nationals and at NAL in Denver!!
