I agree, Frank makes the best tables around here. Had some problems with our table we ordered from STB, came back pretty nice now but had to have ours shipped back too, and it took forever to get back and the padding tears up easy with elbow pads coming up like you said. I don't like bad mouthing peoples businesses though, but if it's not an isolated incident then someone needs to work on the customer service and the said product a little better.

Mcdonalds is a "customer service business" that serves hamburgers......stb should consider the same....i pull on a hirst table every week its very simple but its fine....Customer service is def #1 though... not sure the full details of the story but if thats all true...yikes.....also consider putting a piece of plywood under your table after u order it

i do have a piece of 3/4 inch plywood bolted to the bottom the problem is the legs are held together by small bolts that are not very strong i wrenched these allen key bolts hard as i can and this table is still flimsy and wobbly then after pulling for a bit they loosen off and now the whole table is like gonna fall apart what do i have to do use thread lock everytime i want to use this thing im stuck with this crap now im gonna bring it to my friends fabrication shop and weld the whole thing together what a joke makes it kind of hard for disasembly purposes this thing is junk.

the BEST table I've even seen is a WINDOVER table, they used it at the Mike Gould Classic and most tournaments in Ontario and everyone LOVES IT, amazing design, easy to put together (one to two minutes, and the same time to take apart, actually the time he showed me it took less than 1 minute) and is very very sturdy...

Anthony,
This letter is in regards to the three armwrestling tables you ordered and received from me in November of 2010. You ordered 3 tables from me stating that the STB table was the nicest armwrestling table you had ever seen. In fact you had physically seen one of my tables in Florence, Oregon at the U.S. Open Armwrestling tournament and pulled on it, checked it out and were able to see it in person and see the design and quality.
After you received the three tables in Canada you called me to notify me of an issue with the threads on the frame legs tightening up and not being able to assemble two of the three frames completely. You returned two sets of legs and two top frames of which I chased the threads with a tap and die set and pre assembled to make sure they work perfectly and they do. Those parts are boxed up and ready to return to you as we speak.
A few days after your initial call concerning the thread issue you called me again saying that the table frames were “flimsy” and Loosening after using them at a couple of practices involving around 25 armwrestlers each time. I told you that I had several tables out there in use and no one had ever complained about the frames loosening up after use so that this was new to me. You informed me that my table frame design was all wrong and that I should build them differently by having tubes at the top and bottom and a center tube that is secured by a set screw at each end similar to the tables built by Frank Hurst. I told you that my frame design is the same design as the ones built by Igor Mazurenko which at that time was the only table approved for competition by the world armwrestling federation. You asked if I would be refunding your money for the tables and I told you that I needed time to process the issue and would get back to you with my decision.
My initial reaction to this issue as a business person would be to refund the money you paid for the tables with my apologies and move forward. After some thought on the situation I feel as though you knew exactly what you were buying before you made the purchase of the three tables because you were able to physically see the table in Florence, Oregon previous to your purchase and you liked them and thought they were great and ordered three of them a short time later. The table in Florence, Oregon was identical to the three tables you received. I believe that the tables you received were of good quality free of material defects or damages with the exception of the thread issue which has been corrected. I would like to return the 2 sets of legs and 2 top frames to you immediately so that your three tables are complete and correct. I will also send you longer 3/8” threaded pins for the elbow pads as you think they are too short. No other person has mentioned that issue to me either.
I am willing to work with you on most any issues but I just do not feel that refunding your money is justified in this situation due to fact that the table that you saw in Oregon and on my website is identical in design and every other way to the three you received in Canada. You knew what you were buying before you bought them and because the one table you practiced on loosed up after heavy use does not mean that my tables were misrepresented in any way nor is there any claim made by me or on my website that my tables would not loosen up after heavy use. There are several armwrestling tables for sale around the world, available on the internet and none of them claim that their tables will not loosen up after heavy use. I build the tables as you see them, I didn’t invent the frame design, I only use the same design as another manufacturer and make no claim that its perfect, but it is approved by the WAF.
I would rather communicate with via email because I do not wish to argue with you or exchange harsh words with you and I feel this is a much better way to communicate going forward.
