John Brzenk is the best AW but who the best top roller, hooker, and shoulder rollers in each class? Who also is the best all time in these areas?

peoples styles sometimes shift. Jacob started out toprolling and then at the worlds in 1998 he broke out the heater. Reimer has stuck with the toproll as far as I have seen. This is a loaded question My god all time? There are people who have been forgotten even. Steve Stanaway the ref was killing people back in the day .many world titles. History ..... did anyone ever think they should have written some things down Include the word surviving or the phrase still pulling otherwise a few more of us could pass on from an aneurysm or something trying to recall information. I am not touching this one unless you have survivor benefits attached to it and then I am not sure I would even try. Valid Curiousity but good luck with that one Robert.. Merle Meeter's work carries on.

it depends on what we understand from "the best".is it how good it looks?how strong it is?or how successful it is?i better go with being succesful(excluding Brzenk since he should be qualified as one of the best for almost every style,if not all); Jan Germanus has been the most successul hook puller in the history with his 13 WAF titles (real World titles that he did win in his back yard by beating his country men only).he used only hook style which is based on curling in then pinning by using bicep muscle (never seen him applying joint pressure to forward way). Rustam Babayev is another man who has won his titles (the best and longest winning record ever) by using hook style.he also do not have a forward moving hook style but wrist curling.but he applies joint pressure hook mixed with side pressure.i have seen him winning matches with dead wrist (against myself 2001 WAF),with toproll (against Bondo Hubulov 2003 EAF and Stojan Golemanov 2007 Vendetta),and with straight side pressure against a few pullers including Vephkia Samkaradze 2007 WAF and Taimuras Tschakilov 2007 EAF www.worldofarmwrestling.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=3639 ). Genaddy Fadzinov is my favorite hook puller ever.he was not muscular (can be considered weak by looking at his arms)and one would bet against him with everything he has for an armwrestling match.but once he hooks someone (i have not seen anyone toprolling him probably except Cobra in 1999 when he was only 17 years old but Cobra was telling me about how hard it was to pin him) and locks his shoulder-elbow-wrist combination then you needed to break his arm or leave your elbow from the back of your pad to get further to open his bicep.hooking and then beating pullers such as Semerenko and Taras should give us some idea about him. www.worldofarmwrestling.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=348 Taimuras Tschakilov has been one of the best hook pullers ever.he has won 8 WAF titles between 1997-2002 by using his very powerful defensive hook style.his style based on a forward move to catch and then pull elbow back by a short rowing and finally a powerful table curl type of offensive lift followed by the pinning pressure which is joint supported. against one of the another multiple times of World Champion Shamil Karajaev in 2001 Italy; www.worldofarmwrestling.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=346 lately we have some other great hook pullers too but they need to do much more to be listed here as one of the greatest hook pullers ever.before my time probably John Buononato can be considered as a great hook puller (people from his time will know better though),Bongard's performance in the overall competetion 2001 Harley Pull was one of the most impressive hook performance that i have ever seen.there should be some others to be mentioned here but these are the most succesful ones that i can list as the hook style.

Cobra probably was-is the best hand control type of toproller ever.his hand and arm height is perfect for this style and he has been intelligent enough to use it fast and powerful enough to be remembered as the best hand control type of toproller ever by myself.
Dave Patton has been another great toproller but his style based on more of a back pressure mixed with hand raising, which another type of toproll.
for about 10 years Taras Ivakin has been one of the toughest toproller to be hooked.he has won many World and European titles and gave some of the "constant" toughest times to John Brzenk's hand as someone who is in the same weight class with him.if i am not mistaking he has been the only man that has toprolling wins against Germanus constantly in his prime times (Germanus also have a lot of wins against Taras).
without the strap Sharon Remez also is a name to be considered one of the best toprollers ever even though he has a small hand.
lately we have some other great toproll pullers too but they need to do much more to be listed here as one of the greatest toproll pullers ever.there should be some others to be mentioned here but these are the most succesful ones that i can list for the toproll style.

for shoulder roll probably the first name that comes to minds is Jerry Cadorette.he is one of the strongest dead wrist shoulder pressers ever without any doubt. another strongest shoulder roller of his time is Slovakian Peter Gazderica who is multiple times of World and European Champion. Alanbek Hugaev was also an incredible shoulder pressing type of a hook puller.in his prime time it was near to impossible to stop his shoulder press move (with wrist curling),ask Taras once he applies probably he also has one of the strongest shoulder pressure too,yes that is Ron Bath. i may be mistaking but Frank Walkuski also had a shoulder pressing type of a hook style and it was very effective too. Ibragim Ibragimov also was very strong shoulder presser,i can not call his style as a shoulder roller but he sure was able to apply a very strong shoulder press. Allen Fisher is another name that i have seen applying high quality & powerful shoulder roll.
