I am sad for Tom especially if something broke. I have never seen a dislocation of an elbow sideways. They just dont go there. I have once in my life seen someone break the elbow socket. I myself have broken a section in the socket which resulted in a marble sized piece of bone being left floating around. Perhaps this is what happened to Tom since he has been pulling for a long time. The entire socket break I saw on a younger puller. If it is just a piece then an arthoscopic surgeon specializing in elbows will fix it no sweat. He will just flush it and repair any spurs . After many years it might find Tom much better off than he has been in the past. I just dont see Tom Wilson dislocating his elbow . Update please. Thanks Truth is I cant wait until my specialist gives me the go ahead to repair. He rocks and the last time it really helped but outcomes are based off what we set for goals on ourselves.

if he didnt go and it just broke some of the socket bone he will be able to wrestle still. I dont recommend it though. I broke mine in 1985 and then found myself at over the top with no or very little side pressure. Then I got my side back but would frequently have to stop mid match once I got the hook while bones moved until they ulnar was clear. I lived that way until 2003 and after some hard bouts in a tournament the whole mess unsettled so I elected to repair. I had lived in so much pain for so long until after the surgery I did not need pain relievers. I was totally relieved . 10 weeks later I still managed to pull in the nationals but it was about a year before it started getting back to what would be 100%. If my doctor did another mri and told me tomorrow he could get me in and do more I would be there in the morning. I have a few other issues that are not ready yet and may never need attention but you cannot find out what can be done unless you see the specialist. I still recommend Andrews Institute even though my last 15 minute meeting with four digital xrays ran about 850 bucks on my insurance. I figured I got ripped off but that is what it costs now days to defer so much that I guess is free for others. Tommy will know in a few days whether it is not going to get better because if it was chipped or broke off it will be sore for a very long time.
