I had lots of fun. Thanks to Kevin Siska and all the refs! For those of you that don't know....Norm Devio is a BEAST! Made a lot of new friends and learned a lot on the practice table. Back to training!

Good job Kevin sounds like your first event was a success. I wish I could have been there but busy with the house and the rain was scattered and it only rain a couple of times, so I just worked though the rain. I would have loved to have been in the mix to see if the results would have been a little different. But there is always next year. Well congrats to everyone.

Ok heres how I saw it..
154s: Norm. If you look at what he's done in the sport over time, you can make a strong case as best lightweight career of all-time. Kris continues to improve. Benjie looked good early but his match with Norm took some % out of him. Henry Van Buren was tough all day.
176: Coney is RAW power. Kopa is no longer a one trick pony with another solid finish. Greg pulled well for 3rd.
198: Top to bottom the hardest class of the day. Not many know Brock, Bogart and Whitaker but they are a handful and Kevin Siska came within 1 inch of running the gauntlet before the gas tank started to blink..
230: Guy was in control all day.. Carlos keeps on improving and it won't be long before he upsets a favorite to a big class win.
HWY: Ok He comes my man-crush. ROB SASSO!!!! He goes hwy for a challenge, he is NOT 100% and hasn't worked out in almost 2 years (just pulling once a month).. Fred Decker shows up and the room was a buzz waiting for the two to collide.. Fred hits, Rob gains control and breaks Fred's wrist back, up and over and done.. Fred makes a charge back to the finals but Rob gets stronger and dominates Fred in the Finals. I don't care if Fred's been out for some years, it's a great win..
Left
Greg's win over Coney Left (2-1) was inspiring.. More matches need to start in a hook.
165: Norm. See above.
198: George was on fire. Jesse looked very strong but just couldn't work out of Georges hand. Strongman Enzo is a tank.
Hwy: Decker's left was king.. Mark Sheehan looked like he almost started to move Fred's hand back. Another couple %%% and he might have something..
Masters: Badger comes with the A+ game and then finds himself out on Fred's hand, Badger knows how to finish as well as anyone in the business. He takes his time knowing Fred's tank is limited and pulls off a big win.
