I just seen the new Challenger and I was blown away. It's a lot bigger than the old one. The sticker price was 45,000 and a guy was buying it for 74,000 due to dealer mark up. Orange and black striped. Sweet ride

Yeah it looked just like that one except they changed the grill on the final product.

it is funny . the more things change the more they stay the same. I always did like that earlier body style..... what was the old engine. 383 bored to 401? remember we are talking from memory here and the last time I was tooling around in one of those was before I graduated high school. 1975

74,000 for a dodge? some people have too much throw away money. you can actually get a REAL car for that price.

I agree. You can get a serious BMW, Mercedes for 75k...I'd rather have a Dodge Charger than a Challenger anyways if I went with Dodge....

Nice car. Not 74K nice though. I'd go with a Viper w/that kind of money, or a Z06. Never foreign though.

Ive driven both Anthony, ziper extremely rough ride and loud, Z06 amazing, but I got the chance to drive an acura nsx and it out handled and out performed both in my opinion. all personal choices I guess. My choice would be the Ford GT. Nice to have a few well to do freinds that let me drive their cars on occasion.

Anthony, I do like your Rumble Bee. That's a cool truck. I still have my 1st car, a 74 Challenger. I've owned it for almost 24 years.

I don't seem to keep onto vehicles too long, but have had that for 2+yrs, and my mustang for almost 5. Thats a really long time for me.

Our Economy may almost be in a complete recession right now...but that will still not make me buy a car made in the US of A. My current luxury car is a Lincoln LS, and I've never had more problems in my entire life. I've owned 3 japanese cars before, never had ANYTHING near the NIGHTMARES this POS provides, free of charge...FIXING, not free of charge. Someone who spent $75,000 on a Dodge is one of two things:1. Loaded beyond Comprehensibility. or 2. A Complete F*cking Idiot.

I Still Say For $45,000 sticker price, I would buy a Dodge Charger Daytona if I were forced too. It Is a PLUS the new Challenger looks GREAT, but I Would still prefer the Charger...but then I think of Al Bundy and His Dodge, and Think I Should just Forget About Dodge.

Some of it in my opinion is Luck and some of it is the dealer. A good dealership is a big thing. I suggest you pick another brand with a different dealership. Oh and I have friends that have had huge problems with their "Japanese" cars.
