The results shall be up here soon. Just here to say THANKS for everyone that made the trip to Fort Walton beach for Battle at the Beach.
Team La was as out in force. Congrats again to Ray H. for winning the Eagle award. Even though he was away at work Britt accepted the award on his behalf.
Some big names that showed (Surprises) as always at Battle at the Beaches...Steve Dedge and Glenn Brooks great to see ya'll back in the saddle again guys.
But I have to say the Best Surprise who was there to support his family was Bert Whitfield.
Overall it was a wonderful day in the Sun weather was in the high 80's and windy. Nobody passed out on the speakers this year.
Thanks to Robbie Ellis for stepping in to ref a few matches. Also thanks for the Kids table as well. Thanks to Heather Battles for the brackets because without you Charles and I would have been stuck in the Mud. Your the Best.
Also thanks to my training partner James Battles for filming the event. As of 7:45 Jim refused to eat so he could copy the tapes. BECAUSE....
Thanks Chop for leanding us your camera. There was a malfunction with Heather's camera that Jim couldn't figure out and when Jim can't tackle some computer problem such as a digital camera its *&cked up.
The Blountstown boys are getting very strong. To me, they are up and coming like the soul collecters. Joe Hunt from Mississippi (Still has to drive 180 each way to train with someone) looked good today.
Overall it was a good turn-out and a great time Battle at the Beach 6 will be announced hopefully in a few weeks.
Thanks again everyone.

Ray won our annual award for being supportive of armwrestling particularly the tournament and also being our pick for Dudley Do-right for this season at Battle at the Beach. Ray was away on an emergency job but has helped many people including myself in the heat of things on the table. I just wanted to express my pride also in the execution of technique and strength that my larger training partner exhibited. It payed off well and I could not resist announcing him with with an excerpt from the scarface movie. "Say Hello to my not so little friend " All round good day , not too bad on the heat and the downpour finish we are famous for in the afternoons. Still working here but headed to bed soon. night night

I think if Ray and his family along with Ryan and the wife (whose keeping him straight) and oh yea the 171 guy we would have had the whole population of La there yesterday.

As always, thanks to everyone who attended, I will be posting the results soon, special thanks to my right hand man Carey, we didn't even know if we could do the tournament, and he helped me make it happen. Thanks to Heather, and Jim, for the brackets and filming, and to Robbie for bringing the kids table again. I'll be back with the results later.

working on it Tim. It will be up maybe tuesday online at armsportvideos.com Scott Macinnis had another tourney to edit while I uploaded today but he has it when he gets past other job. He should announce it here when he gets it posted. It was three large files and he will have to download them now and work them and then post them back up. He will certainly have them before the end of the week on the site . It is a fast connection so at that point you will have it in no time
