I've seen/heard of several arm wrestling nick names. I would like to know how someone gets a nickname? Do they make one for themselves, someone makes one for them, or a combination of the two? These are a few that I can think of, we have: three Flashes, The Golden Boy, Razor, Top Hat, Superman, The Bullet, Bad Draw, Cobra, The High Chief, Chicken Wing, Monster, The Grippler, The Beast, The King, King Kong, Powerhouse, Best, Big Daddy, The Perfect Storm(I made this for someone) and The Angry Turk. I'm sure there's more. I had a nick name my army buddies made for me, but it doesn't "Flow" like some of these. I went to a Police Mt. Bike course. I got drunk and crashed my bike. So my nickname was Drunk Crash Gardner Snook. The drunk and crash is self explanatory, and they new Cobra from me talking of him so thats where the Gardner came from. Some are good enough to have two. There are three with the same. Maybe I can be a Cobra too So whats your opinions on it, and how can I get one someday. I am board at work and needed something to do, this seemed like a good way to pass the time.

I don't know much about knick names, but I want your job! ;D
James Retarides gave Klemba the "High Chief." I forget the origin, but the pony tail makes him look like he could be native American.
I believe the Grippler came up with that one himself, kind of like a pro wrestling persona.
Next tournament, I'll find out where "chicken wing" came from.
Instead of drunk crash gardner.....how about "little snake?" LOL Since we have 3 flashes, you could try "flush." ;D I'm not too good at this. Josh Stark gives everyone nick names. He might come up with a good one if he reads this thread. I'm sure you won't be using any of my ideas.

My last name is Helmer "Hel" and my hair is red... they call Hellboy "Red" in the movie. Be lucky your name isn't "DRUNK DIAL" ;D

Nick names should be givin/earned (whether from something good or bad) .... not made up for themselves. Thats the general rule, anything else seems weak and gay. LOL just my take on it. However sometimes rules can be broken if need be ... I do understand HELLBOYs' ... makes sense to me, so therefore ALLOWED. ;D more on this here: (2nd to last post from bottom) teammaine.proboards107.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=general&thread=11676&page=5As for mine ... givin to me from old Pro Wresltin buddies. Had it for 18 yrs now.

Thanks, but I only drink/get drunk about twice a year. So that doesn't really fit me very well. Maybe some of us are not meant to have nick names

LOL don't forget Daryl"frozen pondwater"Miller I should change that to Daryl "every time I arm wrestle Snook I somehow get closer and closer to beating him left handed, even though he trains his a$$ off, and I don't" Miller. How about that for a nick name?
