Jeramie, in case you haven't noticed, unfortunately most people don't care to enough to even watch the masters, much less post results

Mike, You are right. They dont rate an afterparty that was last night after the open. They dont rate food in the ballroom or drink in the ballroom when they pull. Oh wait they had 2 water coolers. They dont rate a cover charge. Basically Sunday and Masters is an after thought. These are men and women that are the back bone of our sport they have been in this sport longer than most of the open pullers have been alive. On a side note I am very proud of my husband he got 2nd right in the 90 kg masters an grand masters. I know Dwayne Hanel got 2nd left masters 90 kg.
Ron Klemba won Tim Bresnan won Drewes got 2nd I think Don't know about Harry Bean- Jim said he was pulling well.

MASTERS!!! OH I CARE....MOST DEFINITELY...to be honest some of the best matches of the day happened yesterday.
Do to the size and nature of this event I have many many tapes and all night was dedicated to getting the video into the computer...but yes...did do some after partying at BTB's house last night.
I was very excited to see James Battles make it to the Unifieds he of course was involved in some of the great WARMASTERS yesterday be it with Bill Collins Or John Woolsey. Thankfully the top two get the worlds nod as both competitors deserve it.
I am not sure I saw Ray Darling get slowed down all day until he met up with Tony Villa...who seemed to want the Triple Crown title pretty bad for some reason.
Then you get to Herman McCoy and Ron Klemba who had some amazing wars and was pretty darn Dramatic given the fact that Ron had already secured the TC title and was now given the position to end Herman's dreams for a second straight year...
yeah...Masters was anything but an after thought..
Peace out!!
Steve Phipps won the TC Left handed yesterday and I wanna say that he did it with relative ease from memory...a bit foggy but I think left handed he was just too dominated...
Right handed for steve, there was Sammie Hattabaugh who looked to have given him a run but just couldn't yank it down....Phipps hand is just a bit too strong for Sammie but you can tell that he is close.
It was great to see Alan Boun come out to Unifieds after being out since 2002.
It was a bummer to see Richard Lupkes in the audience with a torn bicep forced to be a spectator for the day. That stinks, never want to see that for a puller.
Big Tim Bresnan knocks it down Right handed masters.
John Woolsey brings it home, as does Bill Collins
One of the funnest moments and definitely a highlight of the day was seeing how excited Bruce Way was to get Clay Rosencrans in a hook and take him to the pad after a thirty second struggle to close out the final inch and a half....after the match, the look on Clays face..."shouldn't have gone there"
got to finally see Jim Woolsey get on the table, after being a spectator for his brother the last couple of years.
Harry Bean had some battles all day...very fun to watch.
Badger is the man, always glad to see him make it out...He spices up any and all events.
Big surprises from Robert Coppla, the man is stepping it up every event.
One thing I take away from the masters is how many guys you see only pulling this day and not on Saturday when they clearly can still compete. The reasons...they want to qualify for the worlds...and want it bad so they bring it and it sucks to see guys not make it...very tough.
always nice to see John Parton make it to an event...I know you'll be back stronger every event.
I know I am missing a few here but it was a fun day!!
Go Masters
Gary
