There are a handfull of states not accounted for, and this board has grown having serious pullers in every Region,so I think it would work, and it may give you a better look at the top guys in every specific Region. You could also include Regional Commisioners to help Coordinate and get the word out to states within the region that there is an upcoming tournament in their area, help the sport grow some, and you could also break it down to tiers in levels of pulling for entry level pullers up and coming, and the pros as well. Just some thoughts.
you could break it down to :
Northeast Southeast Southcentral Northcentral Northwest Southwest
That would cover everyone, and more specifically when you go to a tournament

Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana are currently in the Midwest Region when they are on the Eastern side of the United States. Hawaii, Alaska, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, Delaware, and Maryland currently not assigned a region.
If the Regions are adjusted, here are two sugestions below:
Option #1
West (North West – Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho) (South West – Hawaii, California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona)
Central (North Central – Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wyoming, Nebraska, Iowa) (South Central – Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas, Louisiana)
East (North East – Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhone Island, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine) (South East – Kentucky, Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida)
Option #2 Based mostly off Time Zones – with the exception of Hawaii, Alaska, Alabama
Pacific (North Pacific – Alaska, Washington, Oregon,) (South Pacific – Hawaii, California, Nevada)
Mountain (North Mountain – Idaho, Montana, Wyoming) (South Mountain – Utah, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico)
Central (North Central – North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois) (South Central – Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi)
Eastern (North Eastern – Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhone Island, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine) (South Eastern – Kentucky, Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Georgia, Florida)

Way to break it all out Dwayne. My vote's for Option #1.

So do you want to combine the North and South East or separate them?

They could be combined for less regions, but I would seperate north and south. Or option #3 which could be something completely different that someone else comes up with. Definately get the missing states put in there somewhere though!
