i agree with chris.. i retired from arena football, due to injuries.. in armwrestling you can have a longer career and also still compete at older ages.. plus it great meeting new people and talking trash on websites like this one... armwrestling almost has a " wwf" feel to it

AT THE MOMENT I grip my opponent's hand and feel his power, I feel like he is no longer my enemy but friend. Other sports? only AFTER a match, I feel the same.

I have just always loved to armwrestle. I think it is the best way to test your strength against another person.

I am in this sport for the love of the sport. I must say that I have met many great people as well. No regrets here.

With me being new to sport my perspective is that anything that helps generate positive interest is good. I got turned onto the sport by humans 1st (face to face) , loved it. Then researched it .... and come to find your site (ARMTV), Northeast Board, armsportvideos.com, inthehook.com ect. Cant rely deny that ARMTV has more interesting content & better quality footage (better cams I assume) but with that said it needs to be better seeing as it a biz for him. Sure one that he is passionate about but a biz never the less. He does well with it, he reaps some pride and benefits.. he doesnt stay in the "in the black" he'll get the enjoyment of losing time and $$$. It's his risk. But I believe the sport benefits from all those guys that are spending their time/$$ and entusiam promoting the sport. I for one Thank you Gary in the form of membership dues (its worth it for me) I appreciate the other vids sites on a personal level too. Thanks

I was a gym rat that found something he could put his strengths towards finally. Now I lift for overall fitness and specifically for armwrestling. The adrenaline rush, the energy....... its the drag racing of the human body and strength. The people you meet....the friendships you build. One on one competition...... Everything makes it fun and great.

I love the sport because of the friends you make at the tournaments and the competition you can pull a guy at a tournament and win or lose you can have a beer together afterwards.

To win ..........or try hard to win. I hate losing. If I lose its because I didn't train hard enough, and its MY fault........or the other guy cheated. I would have one boring a$$ life if I didn't have AW to look forward to.
