Yes I have studied up on it Todd. There was a discussion on another board I am a member of about how it could possibly create minature black holes that would destroy the whole world. Not really likely to happen but we discussed all of the possibilities.

Well one that big woulda took the whole world out quit fast. We are talking about black holes the size of dimes that can eat the world from the inside out.

The novel "Angels & Demons" has a nice plot with this as part of the story line.

Bill Nye "The science Guy" said it would not form a black hole and destroy the earth. He seems pretty smart, so I'm going with what he said.
