Just wanted to let everyone know that John Creekmore is now in Alaska until February when he deploys for Afghanistan for one whole year to serve our country in the Army. For those who are not familiar with John, he was the 2007 231 national champ left and second right. He is still young and new to the sport and I wish him the best on a safe return to win a few more of them.

been there done that , was over there for 18 months, Wish him luck, and tell him to definatly learn either Pashtu (posh-two) or Darri (darr-ee) those two languages are the most used among the 13 + varying languages,
Also tell him that it is important to Keep an eye out daily for strange things on the roadside that were not there earlier, and NEVER go the same route all the time.
Keep a watchful eye look like your ready to fight and you will be less likely to be attacked, they attack the guys that look like they are not paying attention..
Be safe come home soon

When John First came to my house for training he was still in high school and wanted to start pulling. Alan Berget, Tom Wilson, and myself started working with him with in 1 year we could not stop him. I wish him luck and thank him for what he is doing. John just remember while over there that Team SHP needs you back so stay safe and take care.
Stay Safe,
