I thought I might have crossed that FINE certain line the other day in my classrrom when I discussed politics. I didn't declare either side, but I thought I might have crossed the line until I read this one:
SCHOOL BOARD REFUSES TO FIRE TEACHER OVER RACIAL SLUR
Marianna, Fl. A school board has refused to fire a teacher over a racial slur aimed at Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.
The Jackson County panel, instead voted 3-2 Thursday to suspend Greg Howard without pay for 10 days, costing him over $2,500. He also waqs removed coaching duties with the loss of related pay and ordered to take diversity training and write an apology to students.
During the 7th grade class Howard reportedly-wrote "CHANGE" on the blackboard as an acronym for "COME HELP A N(SLUR) GET ELECTED."

I don't blame him. Anyone not educated doesn't know Obama went to an anti-american muslim school.
He also represented an anti-white minister.
Stupid americans will vote for Obama.
Read a book, watch the news....s**t.

I was when he was 6-10 years old and living in Indonesia . Not sure about the ministry thing. The teacher would have got lynched in my school if he wrote that on the board (jUSTIFIABLY). It would not have had a thing to do with Obama though.
Citizens are kept in check with hate. Right now it is Republican hate and Democratic hate or black/white to tear us from the real issues. Keep are minds full of distrust so that we do not see that the gap between the haves and have nots keeps growing.

I would comment profoundly in here but after being unmercifully badgered by an elderly black democrat yesterday who says that Obama will save him from the devil white man I will just have to reserve any further comments to myself other than to say once again two wrongs do not make anything right. The views seem to differ from democrat to democrat depending on what they have been promised but there is so much I have to be ashamed for being a conservative republican . I just would rather go on a "show me mode" and let us just see how much of these promises are going to be kept to all these people who have decided that freedoms are overated. The democrats are now calling Sarah Palin the Vixen who is just a heartbeat away from controlling us all. I guess the 80% approval rate from her governor position was based on being a call girl. I do not know. At this time I am still leaning toward McCain. The biggest reason is the all out media circus being used to shove Obama up my AXX. Anything with so much Slander with no real substance cannot be a good thing. Speaking of which ever since Mr. Obama decided to heavily tax people making over 250 a year who has seen the wonderful celebrity backing diving in with their big brown noses? You know what? Chicken Butt!
I am the white devil and I approved this message. It is strange that I have probably 100 friends who just happen to be Black yet I am the white devil according to an elderly Black democrat.

McCain's refusal to campaign on his platform, rather than just slander the other candidate speaks volumes, even snr Republicans have stated this. I haven't seen the vixen comments, but I have seen the rhetoric coming from Palin's mouth. Based on her debate, interviews, and what I know of her Mayorship and the very short time as Gov, she is a poor choice as VP, IMO. Seems the shine is off the star, too, her approval has dropped below 64% as of late, seems maybe a lot of Alaskans, like many of us, are getting to know her for the first time? I digress. This thread is about a teacher who should be fired.....Someone will sue.

Well at least Barry is looking after his Grandmother in Hawaii this week. As for what he can do if made president these days there is a much bigger choice to the powers that be on how to control or rid themselves of the unwilling pawn. I can see it now. Air Force One shot down by Iran. I digress > You haven't really lived until you have seen the power of a Good Ole Boy and they own that section of woods. Get over it. Just ask Big Pic hence forth a new politically correct pun. They will call it Irany

We held our annual District Wrestling Meeting last nite here at South Walton. Every coach from the District showed. Marianna's coach showed up and talked about the teacher that wrote the words on the board.
He said he knew the guy well and was just joking around with the kids. He had that trusting feeling with his kids and thought he could write that on the board. JMO-
In today's society where we sue over anything big or small it wasn't a surprise to me that the kids turned him in to he school board. What the teacher did was cut his own throat. When I talked politics the other day, I didn't declare whom I was voting for in Nov. (McCain) Many teachers get that feeling of trust with their kids after a few weeks. I get that way sometimes as well, but I'd never show off my level of education by putting that type of slang on the board for everyone to witness.
Was the teacher out of line? Yes Was this his 1st mess-up? Doubt it Does he need to lose his job so everyone can pay his unemployment? No Are the kids going to be scared for life? No, after a couple of years they will look back and laugh how this moron screwed up in class.

Sorry, he should lose his job, and get another one, not in the teaching field. Hopefully the School Board will see it that way. Not everyone is suited to teach, and he's not.

At this time I am still leaning toward McCain. The biggest reason is the all out media circus being used to shove Obama up my AXX. Anything with so much Slander with no real substance cannot be a good thing. So the biggest reason you're not voting for Obama is because of the media ads? Because there are more paid for tv ads than you apparently like, you won't vote for the person in the ads? And because the ads are full of slander and no real substance? Jim, are you capable of programming your tv so it doesn't show you all the McCain ads? Or do you think that McCain's ads aren't full of slander and have no real substance? No Karen it was sarcasm. I am not much on politcal discussions but one thing I can assure everyone I wont be doing and that is taking into consideration any of the crap resulting from 3 million dollars a day that the Obama camp is using to blow their own horns. Now if I can just find positive constructive and helpful things that are being brought to the presidency by this candidate then I will consider even voting out of party. Same with McCain but then again when he has been allowed to speak he has shown and honestly placed his ideas out there and not claimed to be the savior as it were. I have not decided but once again I say it is better to support someone who does not claim to know all the answers but has alot of suggestions rather than someone who claims to know all the answers and never seems to show them . I consider that to be like carpetbagging or like a medicine man or root seller. Someone who is real good at selling something and people end up buying it before they even know what it is. I will continue my quest to see for myself. Buying a bill of BS and hope for change on a gamble would be like stupid to me. I don't gamble.
