Goes to Devin Mackin If you dont know him or have yet to pull him. This guy absolutely amazes me day in and day out! He has pulled close to 10 tournaments placing in the top three in the heavy weight class at all but nationals where he placed 5th and 6th respectively. Now granted this is only his first year and his leaps and gains and commitment amazes everyone around washington and oregon! This summer two weeks after nationals he was competing at Washington State and broke his arm, and alot of people would give up or get scared after something like that. Him, no way, he had surgury and after a few months was back at it 110 percent, of course not with his broken arm but training is strong arm everyday, working out, studying armwrestling, and as of last weekend he replicated Ron Klembas work out machines, and built three (very professional) tables working night and day for three straight days. His drive and competitiveness to be at the top, his commitment, and gains over such a short time of armwrestling, even his knowledge of the rules, the sport, the history amazing everyone who has had the pleasure to meet him. On top of all this just like alot of our unique friends in this sport is the type of guy you want your kids to look up to, a role model, and a great friend. So this goes out to you Devin Mackin your a true warrior and i look forward to pulling with you for many years to come. Mark my words he will be one of the top pullers very very soon, So Armwrestler of the year IMO goes out to Devin Mackin, Mack em' down Mack em' down!
