I don't know if any of you guys have seen the side pressure machine that we built. I think Gary had it on ARMTV once. It is pretty much just like what Igor sells (Ours may actually be a little heavier duty). The stainless steel handle adjusts up and down in seconds for any length arm. The handle also spins to 20 different locking positions to work from deep in the hook to all the way turned out in a top and everywhere in between. It's especially good for that "In between" spot I call it where you are trying to toproll but someone has "Almost" turned you in a hook. It has a weight stack with 120 pounds which is probably more than Michael Todd could due to the way that it is set up. It has enough travel to add up to 80 more pounds. They are stack weights just like on all gym type equipment. 120 lbs is plenty though. I don't think there is any need to add anymore. Obviously it is great for power but it's great for endurance as well as that final "PUSH" at the bottom to finish pinning someone. I'll e-mail photos to anyone who may be serious. I have $1,400 and about 45 hours in building this machine. It is all steel and stainless. It is running on a 3" shaft with two grease-able type castle bearings. It is smooth as GLASS. The first $1,200 will buy it. It has been used for a couple years and does have some chips in the paint. Elbow pad is perfect. Mechanically, it is as good as it was the day we built it. I am sure that this machine would last forever even if it was in a gym. We are buying a rope climbing machine and do not have anywhere to put it. Anything standing up simply wears me out and I haven't used it the way I would like to have. Email me @ rlaton@carolina.rr.com or call me @ 704-791-3085 for more info.
