I will definitely be there with some other people from Minnesota! But I'm not liking this jump from 154 to 198 - either they should add a 176 lbs. class or make it 165lbs instead of 154 lbs. IMHO. That seems more common nowadays. Kinda sucks for me weighing around 170 and not wanting to cut down to 154. 176lbs. pullers are screwed...

I am thinking she hasn't changed the positng in the website yet.. I posted it off of Mary's site, the last tourny was a 75kg 90, 100, and 100+kg classes,, She had mentione having the classes be 165, 198, 220 and 220+ I am sure that is what they will be but I am posting it how she has it listed as of now..

if its 165 I will be there Todd. Dont like the other option either, giving up too much weight too 198ers.

I'm suprised you havent been there before, Mary has been holding this tournament for a long time, Every year in St Joe MO, This is a fund raiser for American Second Harvest of Greater Saint Joseph - Food Bank also give out "The Erin Zinna and Christopher Molsbee Last Warrior Standing Memorials" overall trophy, Nick Zinna Has won it for the past 5 years.. There are alot of pretty good pullers that show up from the KC area.. My brother has won the 16-18 class since he was 14

If it's 165 I will be there. if it's like it is now I'll probably be there (since other people from MN are going anyways I'd just ride with them) and pull 198's but I wouldn't be happy about it.

I have done that alot, walking around at 165, I never felt like cutting to 154, so I always pulled the harder class..

I only started traveling seriously about a year ago for wrestling. have went to Hampton Iowa event a few times that Mary put on. went to omaha for states one year but didnt like the idea of the refs being the same people that were teammates with the guy I was pulling. oh well.

I have competed at Nebraska events alot over the years.. And I have usualy won I can assure you the refs up there were always fair. Cliffy Hall and Dian Atkinson..Theresa Brooner and of course Mary..Those used to be their main refs anyway and all were very fair.

I agree I had a dispute over one call made about a month and half ago up at such a tournament in Nebraska and the referee took the time to explain everything to me after wards. The tournament was run very well and always gets a great crowd.

Mike (I know that might have felt awkward been in similar situations before but I have always felt like Heartland tourneys were called down the line) if I'm there I will be helping with reffing as usual and you know how I roll.. I just need to lobby for a 176 class..Mary's tourneys have always been top notch JMO!!

Does anybody know if the 154 class has been changed to 165 lbs. yet? I might sit this one out if either a 165 or 176 lbs. class doesn't get introduced.

Shane I know youre a good ref man. You did a great job in kc at the toproll event I attended except when you fouled me for wanting to start with my wrist cocked! whats up with that?? just kiddin. who is gonna ref when you and I pull though! maybe you can have woody set up a match between you and I for the lightweight toproll belt since logsden isnt close to that weight anymore! or at least make it vacant for anyone to get.

Mike look forward to pulling you, hopefully sooner and later. I know that you are real tough up top, and you bring it every time you step-up to the table. We get on the table it is on, bring your lunch and an ice pack. Later brother
