What would it take to get left handed classes at the Arnold? Or even to add masters classes? Is this possible?

thatd be cool but the thing is the Arnold has SO MANY events going on that day that there wouldnt be the time to hold a left hand class for each weight but it would be nice though i hear that even in right hand in the prelims theyre rushed to get the event done fast for the next one (whether its bodybuilding or weightlifting or ping pong etc)

There really isn't enough time to include a left class...they fly through it now and it barely is enough time...

A left hand class at Arnolds would be awesome, if it could happen, but as mentioned the time slot that armwrestling has is too small right now.

Phil, Obviously you haven't been to the Arnold. Time is a small factor as far as having left hand the Arnold. A sponsor for the prize money is the main issue. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. Denise

Ya I have been to the Arnold.
Arm Wrestling needs to focus on itself instead of tagging along all the time.
Forget the damn Arnold. It has done nothing for Arm Wrestling.

Why not have all the Lefties put money in for prize money in an ARM WRESTLING TOURNAMENT?
Not some oily gay freak show.....
I hear Mauve thongs are the choice of the BodyBuilders this year?

I think the biggest hurdle armwrestling has period is sponsorship. It would be silly to ignore the venues that are awash in sponsorship, ie the Arnold, Show of Champions, etc. Fifty years of pulling in bars in what hasn't gotten us very far.
We have an image problem. The public at large imagines armwrestling to be full of rough, ignorant mouth-breathers. What would give them such an idea? That's what's wrong with the sport. Sponsors want athletes. They demand professionalism. We have to go where the public will perceive armwrestlers as athletes. If tagging along gets the sport in front of sponsors then so be it. They aren't coming to look for us.
