hey guys just wanted to let everyone know how my arm was doing an at the moment everything is feeling really good. been going to PT for about two months now and has been making all the difference. i actually started to get into a full range of lifting last week. before i was limited to doing very little, but now I'm pretty much back to normal. my PT guys are helping me get stronger for arm wrestling and not just to get me by. i now have been on their little training regiment for some time now and there starting to push me to do alot more than the average person should be doing.
but the one thing i did discover about my injury was how it happen. due to my years of arm wrestling and close grip bench and yada yada. i have been creating the front part of my shoulders to be super strong. and through arm wrestling i have made the scapula muscle or lats (mis spell) really big too. but the minor muscles such as my teres minor has been left out. why, because of the workouts i was doing did nothing for it. so as everything else got larger it pretty much stayed the same. as that happen it began to stretch to compensate. well soon enough after arm wrestling too long i stretched it to its limits. the day i first went to pt they said all the muscles of my shoulder were super tight and the teres minor was the worse. it was basically so tight from not being in proportion that it started to tear, imagine that LOL. so alot of my pt has been losing the rest of the muscles through many different techniques which one in particular i must say was amazing, my own secret. and the rest of the time was working out the teres minor to get stronger. i have done all kinds of fun exercises that look like they would help anything, but kill to do.
i just wanted to let everyone know that i officially practice for the first time on Saturday since my injury and it feels really good not 100% but about 75% I'd say, but as for the rest of my arm, it feel stupid strong now. I'm hoping that i can get this shoulder back to 100% soon and try it out at a tournament.
after all this the PT place that was helping me, wants to sponsor team Wyoming.
