I really like the cash box idea. I think it hits on every class and arm equally. And like you said, then ore people show the more money will be awarded.. Great idea Corey. I'd come for that as long as it didn't conflict with the Nationals.

corey that would be a one of a kind tournament with that many cash boxes. I love the idea. I think this would attract a lot more of the middle of the road guys as Snook was saying as anyone in the top 4 could potential win the biggest prize even though the guys with more tickets would be more likely to win but also some of the best especially those guys who want to pull multiple classes.

Wait a minute. . . You're talking to a lady about sponsoring a tournament, but there are no womens classes? What's up with that. If I'm mistaken, please correct me. I would consider coming if you had a women's class.

Would be pretty disappointing to have a money tournament less than an hour from my house that didn't offer any women's classes

Corey, you've got some serious women champions giving you some important feedback... Hope it'll all work out for you. Glad to hear you're recovering nicely from the injury too. See ya.

I personally would make it my top priority to have a good referee. It being your first year I would probably stick with your first idea of having 4 weight classes maybe even 3. If you can guarantee at least 4 women then have a women's class. Also, the estimate of 100 pullers for a tournament that is 2 hours from the nearest airport is probably unrealistic. Maybe in year 3 or 4, but I wouldn't count on it in your first year. (ex: Kentucky muscle is an Arnold Qualifier and is held at an expo in a city with an airport that includes SW Airlines and had probably 100 different pullers in its' 3rd year.) Just don't get discouraged, as long as you are offering something different and quality-they will come.

i also forgot to tell everyone that this is during a event called the chyenne depot days. which only weeks before frontier days, which is the largest outdoor rodeo in the world and there they have concerts and all kinds of stuff going on all the time. my goal is to try to get it during that so people can go to frontier days.

Believe it or not, I might actually be able to make it out to this next year. I would do everything in my power to get back to wyo for something like this. It all depends on what the army has me doing at that time. Really good chance I can come if its near the 4th of July. Its about time you get a good tournament in Cheyenne!

Count on some boys from Washington going. That's worth a weekend trip. I know I'll be there... I'm sure I could talk devin mackin into going along with doug mccarthy. Let's make it happen.
