Looking forward to it. Never been to Montana before. Hey Leonard, any chance of working out a trip the day after like you guys always do with World's? It would be great to actually see the place we're armwrestling in. We don't often get to enjoy the area after so much traveling to the tournament. How many of us have been to 200 events and never saw the outside of the venue? (hands going up across the country) Our group will have organized tours to Yellowstone National Park, fishing, boating etc. Try to take an extra day or two, the park is just 3 hours away. Awesome! I've never seen Yellowstone. I can scratch that off my Bucket List.

All tongue-in-cheek aside, congrats on the bid Leonard and Denise! Your hard work never goes unrecognized. Let me know if there's something I can do to help sometime down the road Our USAA board member Bob Koschel coming up with sponsorship is what put us over the top in doing this bid. This will be a team effort with all our members. ;D

Where in NV is the worlds 2010? Mesquite. You fly into Vegas and there will be an bus to transport you to Mesquite, about 65 miles.

Don't count the old guy out next year. I'm recovering more every day John, I was really impressed with your performance this past weekend. You are definetely a danger in the class....What is up with the old guys, man? Joking aside you guys are an inspiration to all of us. I am happy the way that you and Ron perform which shows that we have years to come in this sport........Looking forward talking to you soon again my friend, take care! Ps: there is no chance in the world that Worley is not winning this next year...if not I am gonna leave him over there and not take him with me back to Florida......maybe you can take him to Alaska with you........

Thanks to Leonard and Denise, Michael and Tonya, all team for great job in Little Rock! They are professionals! I am sure they will make it bigger in Montana next year.
But, one thing.... . All these guys are spending money, time, energy to organize the USA Unified National Championship. This is the strongest and most important Event of the year, choosing the best puller in country. We ( pullers) always request big, strong, nice, money prize championships from organizators, but we must help them also. We must participate in those events, because our participation is the first thing to support them. Unfortunately, not everybody does that. Even some people are best participants..... but in typing only. Do You know, guys, how many thousands of dollars Denise and Leonard spent just on nicest cups? And all other staff? And I am sure they invest their own finances in our sport as well ( usually sponsor's money is not enough)! We must help them to bring the money back. If we won't, they will bankrupt in 1-2 years. And what's then??? Thay are such nice people, that don't speak about that situation, but we must understand. Another thing. If we go to this board, we can see a lot of " patriots", " heroes", " supermen", etc. Somebody maybe will think that National Championship of this country ( USA) is the best. But what happens? We can see only 1 puller in 65 kg left Open! And this is just 1 example. there are more... .Now, how can You explain this, my dear friends? Where were you? And We are patriots.... . We speak about " I SUPPORT TEAM USA".... . We speak about Team success in Italy.... . Forget about that. Next year's World Championship is in the USA. I am sure that a lot of "heroes" will wake up. Why? Because the Worlds is close, cheap to travel. But Italy is just 400-500$ more expensive then Mesquite. So , things are just about some hundreds.... . Too bad. And don't say the economy is bad, etc. Economy is bad for all of us!
Just not angry, not blaming anyone. Just thinking loud.... Sure that most people will agree...
Deep respect to all USAF Board Members.

I was deeply surprised to see the turnout numbers. Little Rock being in the center of the country- I expected the biggest Nationals ever. Hard to say. I just got back into the sport and I'm nowhere near ready for Nats. I've only been on the table about six times in the last five years. They were all in the last few months.
I can't speak to why anyone else didn't go - my guess is finances. Lots of guys have lost jobs this year. I'm one of them.
