Men+armwrestling=Testosterone.....s*it happens...I like Mr snook have only yelled once after someone yelled in mine...but i still see nothing wrong with it...all part of the game..deal with it So if someone screams in your face, you don't want to bring the "fisticuffs" out? If not, where's the testosterone at Fired up IMO is one thing, someone screaming in your face is another. Henry you must watch WAAAYYYYYY too much ArmTv ;D Get an ankle biter, that'll change.

I agree about the shouting to the face looks disrespectful from outside..... Unfortunately it happens to all of us! I would not think in a negative way about my opponent if this happens as the hype is really high at that moment. I personally dont do it myself....and Usually after the screaming, competitors still give props and respect to each other and talk at the lobby or while watching the other matches still so it may be ok I guess depending on the situation...

I've been known to get a little rowdy every once in a while , but i always shake the guys hand after the match.
What's worse if you stick your hand out for them to shake and they just walk off without shaking your hand. I've had that happen to me several times.

Justin..I sent two young pullers your way. They live right up the road and have no one to train with..I knew you had no one close either so I gave them your number. One is a light weight and one i believe is 187 or 198.. strong strong kid.

I'm guilty of a yell out loud, not so much in the face. Coming across the table and yelling in someone's face is a little much but what do you do. If you punch someone in the face your going to be the bad guy regardless. Women scream anyway, men holler and yell, well most men

I think sportsmanship is a huge part of any sport, but I've always thought Armwrestling was a step above all other sports in this category. Corey Miller taught me from the very beginning to shake your competitor's hand before and after the match. I think intense competition is great, but screaming directly at a person after a match is just uncalled for. You can grunt or yell during the match, and you can even hoot and holler and celebrate all you want, AFTER you shake my hand and back off a bit. Sportsmanship is important, its what makes this sport so appealing to a lot of people. I don't want to show up to a tournament and get put down and disrespected, it takes the fun out of it. JMO

I have been asked to post this for Badger Drewes
" You all come on here and talk about how no one respects anyone anymore, then you all go to nationals and everyone is around to watch the open class, cheering and having a great time. Then when it comes to the juniors and masters there arent 50 people in the room to watch and support them. That to me is a lack of respect. You were all in the juniors age group at one time and will all be masters at some time in the future. Lets not forget the future of our sport and the ones who have paved the way for you to do what you do now."

I have seen them run the Kids on Friday and the Opens on Saturday and then have their party as if to say the weekend is over, and they still have Masters the next day. I actually like the way the AAA Nationals runs all of it together across two days and THEN has their party fir EVERYONE!!!! Great Post Badger!!!!!

There was one tournament in particular (I will not say which one) that the screaming and sh!t talking was so bad, that I didn't even finish watching it on ARMTV.
Big time BS, at this event cussing and down the line. That being said I won't attend these events for that reason. I have freaked out before and I'm sure most have but to let it go like it;'s nothing is not good for the sport at all!!!
