Match of the day Shoemaker vs Russell in the 76's. Long hook match with Shoemaker taking it. Congrats to Aaron Blevins on the win!

No problem Ray, I was trying to do it on my phone last night on the way home (hence the spelling and grammatical errors). It seemed like every class had a bunch of guys in it but I don't think any were more dense with talent than the 176s. Aaron Blevins did his thing!! But Tommy and Shoey deserve a lot of credit for the war they were in. The Kesslers pulled really well (Jeremy is going to be scary in a few years) and it was great to see Bill Maenza back on the table. You could tell he was not that far off even after taking off all those years. The 154s was Mark's; he just looked so darn dominant. The 198s had a lot of good young talent in it like Josh Jones, Giles Russell and the two Story boys. 242s, Fisk represented and damn near pulled off the weight class. Russell and Thornes were back at it again. The supers, Shawn Turner, but damn I felt good in there Lefty...Paul Story is the truth. Daniel took second in he 198 class that had Chad Lowder, Giles Russell, Ray Berry and more. Supers and overall, Aaron Gallop. Great job! It was a lot of fun, but quite a trek for a day trip Sorry I couldn't pull much after the tournament. My wrist is fairly fried.

Sorry that Buddy wasn't able to make it. I hope that his surgery is very successful...........One of Buddy's friends, Raul Santidrian, from Florida was able to come. He pulled two classes and he and his friends had a very good time. Always a pleasure to have a chance to meet more good people.

had a good....well.. GREAT time last night. Tournament ran clean with 2 tables going, a nice venue (small, but packed and had alot of energy in the room)and T. Bagent holding it down on the mic. Alot of good pullers there. Thanks to Steve Shoemaker for showing up, had a good time pulling you man and hanging out after the tourney...we'll do it again up in Conneticut, looking fwd to it already. Between me and Tommy getting ahold of Shoe, WE SAID....he was going to have to do work to get outta here unbeaten. Steve, we were plotting on you as soon as you signed up. Thanks for coming down again....you're the man. All of ECA represented well and placed in every class. Maybe the most impressive of the day for me in all classes was one of our own, Paul Story, winning convincingly 76s & 98s Left. Good luck beating that guy lefty, d*mn. once again, good sh*t and next stop for me is Conneticut. see ya there.
