I'm finally feeling Mr. Milano when it comes to this topic. Ever since I have been around this sport I have heard nothing but excuses when someone gets beat. The Supermatch format was invented to put two guys-fresh and ready against each other. They go several matches to eliminate a possible flash or botched referee call, but.... There are still excuses!!! I'm sorry Engin and Neil for the mountain of excuses that seem to depreciate your hard work. I would personally like to thank you guys and you too Pete for putting together what we the people want to see. Even if some of us don't like the results.

there are reasons and facts to analyse the matches but excuse is a different thing.until its proven otherwise what we see is what we have only.
Travis wasnt at his best shape without any doubt and we all are free to think that outcome could be different if he was in a great shape but nothing can take anything away from Arsen neither from Devon.i mentioned Devon as well because i also analised his match with John but never thought to take anything away from his win over Brzenk.
once again Travis took the defeat as a great sportsman and accepted his opponent to be stronger in this supermatch.until he proves otherwise it stays as how it is.
Max Moore was right about a 95kg supermatch shouldnt effect the top 10 unlimited rankings and i decided to talk with both parties about this matter.if Arsen wants to rank number 2 then he shouldnt set any limit for the weight.so i guess he should choose either pulling John under 95kg to rank in 95kg ranking only or allow John to be as heavy as John wants, to be ranked number 2 in unlimited class.

Definitely agree with Engin on the reasons and facts vs. excuses. You have to be able to analyze why you lost so you can fix it the next time. Sure we all love the guy that just says "I wasn't strong enough" but if he takes that attitude into his training, without further analysis, how successful will he be? Pinpointing your opportunities to improve doesn't equate to making excuses but the two are often confused, especially if not delivered tactfully.

I am really getting sick of excuses too, if someone is injured or not feeling well or isn't training, then they shouldn't be in a supermatch.

Knowing the reason you lost and working on that mistake is one thing..stating certain things publicly only disrespects the guy who beat you. I know i have lost some matches through my career that I felt I should have won..but I work on what I did wrong or whatever..I never take away from the man who beat me. I jus twork on what I need to and try to change the outcome the next time I pull him. Part of why I am fairly successful at avenging losses. Hell with an excuse... just fix what was broken and prove yourself on the table.
