Man these rankings are tough to hash out. All I can say is I would like to see anyone else at 70K go out and pull Devin Bair, right or left handed..... seriously please someone else go out and pull this guy because he is ripping me apart.

I think that Gabe, matt harris, Craig Tullier, need to pull some of these others in those rankings

I think Rob Vigeant jr should be higher up on the left because he did place higher than Jacob at the AAA nats....JMO

Thanks for being willing to put the work into this. It makes for very interesting conversation. There have been a few tournaments here in the states. like AAA nationals and Lake Tahoe that may not have been included in your review. I also realize that this is a snap shot in time and can change very quickly.

Admittedly these things are really tough, you really have to come up with a formula for addressing complex issues that prevent you from having a very straight foreward rankings. Devin is beating me more than I am beating him, Gabe beat me earlier in the year, yet Gabe has not pulled really anyone else considered top 5 at any time recently, on the same day Rick beat Devin twice, I beat Rick in our only meeting ever. On the NA front both Rick and I have beaten Vern, Devin has not but Vern has beaten me many many many times, in my book 1 meeting means little to nothing.
At 70K... being sensitive to what a lot of people on this board think and with more first hand experience in this right handed class than anyone walking around in this sport, I say it should be.
US Rick Devin Gabe Simon Bryon
You could also argue that at the Nationals in 2004 and Arnold 2005 Bryon beat me so he is ahead of me as well, that will work to.
NA Vern Rick Devin Gabe Simon (Bryon)
Tell me Rick, Devin, Gabe, Bryon, Ray, Corey, Jason, and Shaloub will all be in Denver pulling 154, then I will make sure I am there at that weight also.

Simon, of those you listed, plus you in Denver, barring injury: Finals of Devin, Rick, Simon, Bryon. No offense to the others listed, outstanding competitors one and all. Winner? We'll see in August hopefully Left handed, I agree right now that Devin is probably the best.

I had an idea about putting on a tourny at the end of every year with just the people listed on the rankings, Now it's just an idea not anything I've considered do but I would like to know what everybody thinks.

I think it's a good idea if they add a 220 pound class to the rankings.

That would be a good idea, yes. Especially since for 220's its impossible to make 198 and not big enough to pull every heavyweight in the country. And the NAA has a 220 class to start showcasing this division.
Good Idea Jim

I would just like to know why I am not at least ranked in the top 3 in the unlimited class? They all fear my 14inch biceps And if you are wondering... Yes they do allow me internet access from the mental hospital.

Simon, your top five looks very good. I also agree that when you put the NA, Vern Martel is listed. Vern is incredible. We will never know who the best is without a round robin tourney, where each competitor pulls every competitor. Stamina would play a huge role in a tourney of this stature. Someone should put it together.
