when some random person on the internet sees an armwrestling video of yours and says "hey thats not how its supposed to be done! they use their body weight! thats not the real way! I could beat you easily..it's called ARMwrestling not BODYwrestling" MAN!!!! its like, if you really think that's what this sport is ALL about then why don't you compete in an actual tournament and stop your *****ing! My entire life, people wanted me to pull them (that appeared to be stronger like football players or well- built individuals) and i take their hand away and pull back and they complain about how I am not allowed to do that...it's like what the hell do THEY know right?!? watch competitions on the internet or even what they showed on espn! its one thing to teach them about the sport but the complaining about how I or any other professionals armwrestle just drives me insane!!!! lol anyway had to blow off steam...some guy was ****in me off about that

LOL. Every drunk in a bar knows the rules of armwrestling. (Just ask him.) But when you beat him it is amazing how fast his rules change. You might take notice that these never-have-competed guys always have this friend who has never been beaten.
It used to get to me years ago, but now I don't even bring up armwrestling with people who don't compete.

When people say "you're using your body" I always point out that it's still your hand/arm as the tool or point of contact so it must be strong enough or stronger than your opponent... Forgive their ignorance . What competitions are you planning on hitting Greg?

i know exactly what you mean i come across guys in bars all the time who are supposed to be "unbeatable"i mean all you have to do to get a person who doesnt kno what they're talkin about riled up just chop/tricep press them and they will almost everytime say "your cheating because you get on top of it" but like howard said the table is equal if i can do it then so can you and if they would ever get enough guts to actually go to a tournament then they would see that all the moves that they call "cheating" just because they got their hand mashed through a bar table are LEGAL also almost all these guys who "have never been beaten" dont even kno that almost if not ALL armwrestling is done on a standup table nowadays so of course your body is going to come into play but what can you tell someone who knows everything

thats happend to me more that once. they just want you to use side pressure or a shoulder roll no taking the wrist. and isnt it funny when someone watched over the top to much and tries gripping you like that
