Only one problem:
What affect did that training session with Larratt have on John?

Engin - Are you planning on having someone take a bunch of pictures like you did for the previous event? There were some really cool pictures!
I'm curious to see how big Arsen looks compared to John, especially considering how small he made Travis look even though Travis out-weighed him by a least 50 pounds. Of course size doesn't mean everything, look at the pictures of John's last match with Taras. Taras looked like a freak!!!
My prediction, for what it's worth, is that it will be similar to the Taras match. I think Arsen will will get a few wins up top if John is not able to slip out or turn him into a hook. If it goes to the strap, I think John will catch him like he did Taras and pull him back.
Good luck with your event, and thanks for putting in all the work for the armwrestling world.

I know Travis wasn't in his best shape when he pulled Arsen, but that match wasn't even close. He didn't get one hit on his side of the table. I saw Travis with a bad wrist (at ROTN) beat Ron B. and Rich L. . Even an out of shape Travis can still beat a bunch of good pullers, but he couldn't even move Arsen. I think John can win, I just don't know if he will. This is a great match up!

Travis has few people who can beat him at his own game of the explosive hit and doesn't have to play it often. He was definitely in the worst shape I have ever seen him, and even a little is huge in our sport. Wish I could be there to watch and support Engin who always promotes our sport should be a great show and hats off to John for continuing to meet others where they are. It's hard to lose weight and maintain strength and the disipline he continues to show is a great motivator for those like me who are so far removed from everyone Go John!

Terrible terrible news.
We are constantly reminded that no matter how important this sport is to us, at the end of the day it is only armwrestling.
I pray for Aslan and his grieving family and friends.

My wife and I will be keeping the family of Aslan in our prayers. Not only a great puller, he seemed to be a great guy. What a loss to us!
