Marcio has stated that he plans to be at the Mike Gould Classic, according to Eric Roussin-Rob Vigeant "should be in attendance". If they both show they will most likely meet up. Who wins? Im planning to participate this year, should be a great event, and also pull @ 220 pound class..... "The 220 class will feature myself (Eric Roussin), Hasan Monfils, Mark MacPhail, and Sylvain Perron. Not sure who else will be pulling this class from Canada. From the US, both John Brzenk and Rob Vigeant Jr. should be in attendance. Is anyone else coming to pull this class? I think John will take both classes." -Eric Roussin on March 1st in the same thread as Marcio's quote. Engin has Marcio #8 and RVJ #10 on his Overall NA Rankings. Eric has Marcio #4 and RVJ #6 on his 110kg NA Rankings.

I think this would be a good match. I say John Brzenk wins. but I think RVJ will catch Marcio's hit inside and pull him back after a war.

At 220 lbs, I think RVJ arrives fully hydrated -- weight cutting is not required. Marcio, on the other hand, I believe needs to work to drop to 220. In my opinion this could potentially be a deciding factor.
At their respective walk-around weights, I think Marcio is the favorite. At 220, I'm not so sure.

I agree with Eric. I think it would be a great match-up but at this point I think Marcio would have a slight advantage right now.

I think Rob could slow him down but Marcio will win. JMO.
I think everyone would def like to see it though. Pete set it up at NEAC VIII or XX or whatever number the next one is lol.

I voted for Marcio because of that intense hit and side pressure. I'm really not sure where Rob is at right now though. It's possible he could stop that hit. If he does, it could be a war. That's turning out to be some tournament!
