I think John would pull 220's if he went. We wouldn't want to have to cut that much weight and face Arsen I wouldn't think.
Nobody is beating Arsen at 198 I don't think..

Good list for team USA but, unfortunately (or fortunately) it will be about 40-60% different. Some guys will be pulling different classes, some will be knocked out by others, and some will not show.. Either way we will have a great team and hopefully prove Engin wrong .

My only knowledge is in the US heavies----but from the scuttlebutt I have heard on here, Tim, Travis, Christian, and Jerry wouldn't be pulling worlds.
Who does that leave as favorites in the US at 243+??

Easy there Shawn, I am debating pulling both. Depending on who is going from the other countries, as to win the worlds when they are right here in the good old USA, that is huge. So depending on what the level of competition is like, and how good of shape I remain in, I would entertain doing both. Also if the Heavies pull on Wednesday, then that is 4 days to recover, short time I guess, but that is only if there are tough matches. As I practice up to 4 days before a meet.

The right hand classes are on the Saturday, so you would be armwrestling on back-to-back days.

Well then, it would solely be depending on who was going to be attending. That would certainly be a bit tougher I would admit. That is an odd layout, really it is wasting an entire week, for what is a weekend event. If you don't compete until Saturday, we should not have to encur the expense of having to be there the Monday before, then waste 5 days there, this looses a lot of time and money. Be alot easier to arrive Friday, to compete Saturday. come earlier of you choose to, however then the rest of us could work all week and not loos ethe pay for that week, and only have to pay for food and room for the 3 days, instead of a week.

I would love to see a Jerry vs. Pushkar match. But then again, I'd also like to see a Jerry vs. Devon match. If Pushkar eases through the heavies he should pull the winner of Devon/Jerry at Neil's event One can dream, right? heh.
