Years ago Dave Devoto used to ask a question of the people he interviewed. The question was "Who is your favorite armwrestler?"
My favorite armwrestler has always been Bill Sinks.
If there was a way to bottle "heart" and sell it, the bottle would have Bill's picture on the label. The man refuses to believe that he will not win the match. No matter how ugly the war gets, Bill just digs deeper and does the un-doable.

Its a Tie for me. Toddzilla/Kevin Bongard. Todd was truly the "Phenom". Accomplished so much, and quickly. Bongard, he would be the guy that you could take to an N.F.L locker room and win $10,000 in bets.

Bagent / Selearis
A lot of my style comes from these 3 guys. I must have watched hours of their footage! To me IMO they are the best!

My favorites include Mo Baker, who may have been the best super-heavy ever(?), and Johnny Walker, who seemed so invicible (until John Brzenk came along). Jimmyvan

John Brzenk of course! Outside of that Arsen because he gives hope to us top rollers without Rob Vigeant size hands and an ape index of 10.

John Breznk, not only for his pulling, but for his attitude. I have seen him pull some who acted like real jerks over the years, and while he has gotten fired up, I have never seen him respond as most would do. He never whines about the grip or makes excuses when he loses. Taking nothing away from Arsen's amazing performance against John, but he was a few weeks away from having back surgery. Know personally how diabling that is to a pullers back pressure and ability to twist, I was impressed that he never once mentioned it

Cool post John. Without a doubt, Jason Vale "The Kid From Queens". He was the first armwrestler to invite me to his house for my first practice. What a day that was, my training partners were a young Jason Vale, Mike Selearis, Danny Habig, " who that day grabbed the rafters in Jay's basement by pinch gripping his fingertips and proceeded to do 12 pullups. Jason has overcome many obstacles, he has a big heart, strong will, and never gives up.
