This was a really fun tournament both days had over 100 entries. Marvin Berry, Mike West, and Simon Barriochoa are three of the coolest guys I've had the privelage of meeting in this sport.

Mark Clay... WOW! National Champion Right on brother! Mark Clay is awesome, he beat Sammie Hattabaugh in the overall. Not many arm wrestlers can say they have a win on a World Champion... & to get that win at a national championship (that you win) Mark has wins on other great armwrestlers like Chris Chandler, Me ;D You hit the nail on the head.... Mark Clay is AWESOME

Well.. thanks for the kind words Jonathon and Russ. I do have to say I was a happy camper on Sunday. That being said, I have to tell you that I thought Ryan Constantino's effort in the pro class 242 and superheavy left was just simply an incredible display of armwrestling. Doing battle with Tom Nelson and John Brzenk in both classes. It appeared that John and Tom might have been "collaborating/conspiring" against Ryan, giving each other no effort matches in order to save up strength and stamina to try to take Ryan out. Each of Ryan's left matches with Tom and John were grueling and taxing. Just an incredible performance by Ryan. And congratulations to Tom Nelson coming out on top in the supers (both hands). It certainly will be fun to have Ryan pulling in local CO matches (starting as early as this weekend - CO State Championships) in the 242's. (Don't have to pull up one or more weight classes to get a chance at a match with him.) I am certain that Ryan's left could use some rest/recovery, but he should be good to go right handed. Seems like I recall Ryan laying claim to being the best right handed arm wrestler (weight classes not considered) in CO. I also think David Warren may believe he has some claim to that also. In any case..... I certainly look forward to having a match/shot at the (whomever) "best (currently active) right handed arm wrestler in CO". But maybe I won't last long enough to get the shot. I am guessing there are several others that similarly are anticipating the opportunity.

Thank you Kyle, Simmon and mike are two of the best of many you will ever meet in the sport. Both Men are true sportsmen, and I am honored to have them as friends.
