Chris Gobby is putting on this tournament which will be original in many ways: - One right hand open class
- Quintuple Elimination -- you keep pulling until you lose 5 times
- Cash prizes down to 15th place:
1st - $600 2nd - $300 3rd - $160 4th - $150 5th - $140 6th - $130 7th - $120 8th - $110 9th - $100 10th - $90 11th - $80 12th - $70 13th - $60 14th - $50 15th - $40 Pullers will be seeded by weight, every round, in each of the five brackets (A,B,C,D,E). meaning you will always pull against the puller who is closest to your weight, and who has the same number of losses. You will not pull the same puller twice, until the tournament is down to the final 5 pullers. This system helps some of the lighter guys make it further into the event. Endurance will obviously play a huge factor and in a tournament like this, anything can happen. Plus, there will be a right hand supermatch between Quebec's top puller, Sylvain Perron, and a man who needs no introduction, John Brzenk. The tournament is just outside of Montreal, about 20 minutes from the US border. Chris or I will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the event.

There's no weight limit for the supermatch, but I don't think either of them will weigh over 230.

That is going to be very interesting depending on who shows up.

That is going to be very interesting depending on who shows up. I went to a triple elim a couple weeks ago. Insane! I had a total of 16 matches within two hours. Quintuple....wow! if 75 people enter it will be a LONG day.

Two tables will be used, and potentially three, depending on how many entries there are.

Get off your ass Bob and watch in person while you pull!

Seems like a bracket nightmare!

Get off your ass Bob and watch in person while you pull! The hour and a half to White Plains is about my limit. I can't stand being couped up in a car. I mean, I REALLY hate it. The only way I could over come that is to actually be a high level puller. Then, I would be psyched. State level's good enough for me right now....

No problem on brackets. Did multiple mock run throughs with 40, 50 and 60 entries. I got a system. And it works smooth every time.
