First exposure to one of top american pullers. They will certainly prepare themselves for the future. Watch out!!! P.S. Thank SooBum Jeon (the big guy in blue shirts) for editing and sending me this footage.

I am very impressed. All of the Korean armwrestlers appear to be very strong. I am surprised so many chose to hook with Simon. I noticed that all of the athletes have very good body positioning and good mechanics. Korea has a very good program from the looks of things.

John, from what I could tell, not many of them "chose" to hook. Simon took 'em there.

Alas, youtube disabled the original audio....I just did an audio-swap that youtube provides...If you watched it without a song, watch it again. It gotta be far better with a decent music.

Great video! There are some strong guys in that club for sure. What a neat experience for Simon, too.

Creating this video was very kind and extremely gracious.
For the most part the majority of these pullers were in fact prone to hook. However I was really trying to work on a couple of things within this training session mostly it was something I feel pretty strongly about.
"you cannot move that which you cannot control" So my approach was to try and garner control while they were going, then show that even in a defensive position having control makes all the difference in the world.
At about 1:22 and again in the background at 1:28 is the best puller in the club, he is the guy with the 20 inch arms, he is extremely powerful and I could not just hold him. His challenge like mine will be his small hand and working to protect it.
I cannot wait to go back again.

Simon,
Very cool that you could combine work with armwrestling! It will be fun to see the growth of the South Korean team and hope to see them at a world championships soon.
