I think Jess has more time in the sport and obviously good trainers, but I voted for Michael because of his solid gymnast build. It won't take him long to climb to near the top. If he trains as hard and as dedicated as Corey Miller, he might actually be able to get to the top...but I believe the odds are against that. Not everyone has that deep intensity inside.

Corey I think his last name is spelled Hann, just for your information. I think Michael is already a force in the 154's, he's already beaten some big names and he's like 19 years of age if I'm not mistaken, and still doing gymnastics which takes a lot of time and energy out of you. I think he is far from peaking and reaching "man-strength" (his kid-strength is off the charts then, LOL). And when he does, and trains solely for AW, you're all gonna be in trouble.

Michael is 20 (2 days older than me I believe), and he has been pulling longer than Jess, just to clarify. And Jess is getting strong for sure but he will not beat Michael Hahn right now, maybe in the future he can if he gets stronger. Left handed Hahn would slam him, sorry.

From what angelo told me he didn't have any matches though so he should be relatively fresh.

I thought Jess has been pulling for around 4 years.

Jess said in the Chandler/Miller interview from 2009 New Mexico States that he had been pulling for less than a year, so I guess he started sometime in 2008. Not sure how long Michael has been pulling, but he won Junions at 2008 Nationals and placed top 4 in the open class so I'm guessing he was pulling before 2008, either that or he was a beast right out of the gates.

Micheal is about four years in to it also, but he can only train hard a few months out of the year because of the training he does in school for gymnastics. He pulls with me Lindley Keating, Lee Browning and Scott Fry every Saturday thats a hour and a half drive. If he isn't at our practice he goes to Austin to pull Jarrod Lovulett and David Rue. He always stays on the table longer than anyone. We are all over 220 lbs execpt David, when he gets on the table he gets crazy and is in his own world . He is an awesome traing partner and I just hope he stays at 154lbs.

I know styles make matches, but watch Michael Hahn pull Brent Norris at Contraband Days and watch Jess vs. Brent at the recent megamatch... although Michael would be a good challenge for Jess and he would be the next step up right handed. Someone should set it up, you never know, Jess is improving at a steady pace.

From what I have seen Jess is coming along very fast too. I would like to see the match also. Hopefully Micheal can get out more next year. 2011 is going to be a good year for team Texas. Some of us guy's are wanting to go up to the NorthEast and test the waters.

I don't know Jess at all except for what I read about him. Michael is very tough, but anyone that trains with Corey can never be counted out.

I saw that Jess is interested in a supermatch for Jeff, maybe he can call Micheal and set something up.
