Thanks everyone, yes I have a great group of guys who I train with, would not have been able to accomplish this without their help over the past few years. It was great to have my family there to support me and how pumped up was I in the finals with the crowd chanting USA.. USA... Unbelievable. There was no way I was going to lose. Unfortunately Tokarev from Ukraine fouled out in the set up and didn't get to pull the final match but i have no doubt that the result would have been exactly the same as our first match. I have to give him credit, he is a very strong puller and was my only real difficult match of the day.

Congratulations Dave, I was very impressed by how agressively and confidently you pulled, you stuck to your plan and pulled your heart out. It was a privilage to be there watching it.

Simon Yes Simon, I had a little help with my game plan too, I had spoken to "Monster " Michael Todd before worlds to get some idea of how some of the top guys were going to pull. Also I took Ryan " I just lost to a Canadian" Clarks advice after my first foul in my first match, I clamped down and used down pressure and snapped hard and fast into a hook every match after. When i Beat Normond Tomsons in my second match, that was huge for me because i knew he was a multi time waf world champion. I was fired up and never lost the intensity after that match.

Downpressure?!#$ My secret is out? Good move though Dave. Just watch the hell out for those chop-press hitters, you're chopped liver if you use downpressure against those guys.

Congratulations Dave. You're the man. That's a pretty tough nickname Mr. Clark has to carry around
