I know I've seen it before but can't find info quickly.
Whats the name of the practice strap or band used to give opponent advantage - because it does not allow separation from wrist/bicep-tricep.
I've seen several and realize would probably be simple to make/find - just curious if anyone has any for sale or know where to find something that would work well.
Thanks.

Try Jump stretch bands. They work well when hooked over the hand peg.

I know what you're talking about but don't know what they're called, or where to buy one

ok let see if i can explain this , i came up with something similar using an old leather(strong yet soft enough to give a lil) belt i had here . Its one with the holes the entire legth of the belt , i put my arm in a armwrestling position opening only enough(between 45 to 90 degrees) I wrap the belt with the tail facing my hand around the back of my arm with the strap going between delt an outer bicep around the inside an back around again so it wraps once around arm once now from the inside bring the strap up to wrap around the wrist in the same fashion once now pull the buckle to the tail til you are at the desired area of which you want your arm to open too and fasen it, but you must be careful not to pull belt to tightly as to cut off circulation. I leave it loose enough to give the puller a lil play in the motion. I hope this helps.

I think Ron Klemba use's one off of a duffle bag/suitcase, that may be a good option for you because it has the sliding pad for your shoulder so it probably would be much more comfortable on your arm and you could pobably can get one at Goodwill for cheap.

I'm pretty sure what your looking for is nothing more then a sling like when you hurt or brake your arm. Its just a little stronger. I think I remember watching a video of Ron Klemba using one with Tim Bressnan at a practice session.

we have used a number of things, a couple straps in a figure eight, but they are not quite wide enough if you are holding against alot of pressure, I like the wider luggage strap as it doesn't dig in to the skin as much. But, I prefer training with out it and just using your second hand gripped around your armwrestling wrist or top of hand depending on which move your partner is working on.
We have used tubing in a figure eight to train armwrestlers to keep their arm tight. Put it on so that their is very little tension, then when you armwrestle, if you begin to let your hand get pulled away from your shoulder you will feel the tension build and it is a reminder that you are out of position.

PERFECT! - Thats one of the videos I had seen a while back but couldn't remember who it was.
Thats exactly what I'm talking about - and its great for hook training against people who normal couldn't beat or hold you in a hook. Allows THEM to work on their HAND defense and offense as well.
