We had a pretty good turnout for last night's weigh-ins. Here are some notable pullers that have already weighed in: 154's Thomas Egan Bill Brown Mark Harrison 176's Jason Trumbower Junior Andrews Ryan Commardelle 198's Ryan Barnett Alper Cosar Johnny Edwards Anthony Edens 220's Stump Burton Kurt Vickers John Wilson 242's Max Moore Heavyweight Todd King
We had @ 30 pullers register last night, I don't have the registration papers with me so I'm sorry if I don't have your name on this list.
The tournament starts today at 2:00pm.

Any more results? Man, Trumbower, Ryan C, and Junior Andrews... that's a tough one to call (and I'm sure there are MANY more in that class). Is anybody filming this event? I'm sure the TAA crew will get quite a few videos, but is anyone filming the whole thing?

Florida won the team overall in a landslide. Georgia and North Carolina tied for 2nd.
Thanks to referees: Tom Perry, Johnny Ordonne, David Owens, and James Retarides.
A few of my thoughts: 1. Tom Perry's demeanor as a referee is amazing. I think he would be a very effective hostage negotiator. I love how he calmly tells the pullers what he needs them to do, and miraculously....everyone listens to him. 2. Good job Stump Burton for selecting a great venue and rounding up the tables. Todd King for printing off the waivers and brackets, as well as bringing the awards. Karen and Frank Bean for pitching in wherever they were needed. (brackets and reffing) 3. I was extremely proud of my buds from Kentucky! Bill, Ryan, and Max represented well, very well. 4. Kurt Vickers is a freak of nature. 5. Karl Stanley is one bad dude left handed. 6. This tournament was essentially a room full of GREAT people. The Southeast ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This tournament was essentially a room full of GREAT people. The Southeast ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! where to start great to finally meet alot of people from the board who I previously hadnt had the pleasure, all really cool people and as always I feel like I came away with quite a few new friends pleasure working with James R. as always, and Tom Perry and Johnny Ordonne are two class acts and it was great to meat you guys, reffing went as smooth as I have seen it once we got rolling, and thanks also to Frank B, Anthony E, and Stump for jumping in on the down side while James or I were pulling, its tough to juggle reffing and pulling and that made it fairly easy the talent level was very good, I am curious to know exactly how many entrees the event drew as all the classes were pretty thick. JUNIOR ANDREWS you are on the list my friend! couple noteable things for me as the day was pretty busy, Karen made TK'S tough task of running a fairly large event much easier, not easy by any means I know but great job to you guys. I am still amazed at every event I go to that our sport is so full of seriously cool people, spent the better part of my down time talking with Ryan C and Jason Trumbower two class acts and very tough pullers, hope to see you guys at Unifieds in august last but not least, my TAA crew.......way to represent, even the novice classes were tough but Iggy and James held it down, and you 220 open guys better watch out Jason Gulley is at your front door and very soon will be a powerhouse in that class Anthony is right , the Southeast INDEED ROCKS!!!

I had a blast guys. I wasnt too pleased w my performance right handed, but that may have been due to the hard matches i was having pullin heavies before pullin 220's. Its all good. I liked all the new talent i got to pull. Lots of work to be done.
Meetin everyone that i see on the board was awesome. It was worth the 8hr drive, no doubt. I look fwd to the next one, it was well run & well reffed.
