Hey, Did anybody notice the twelve year old girl that won the 142lb class at SEC Regionals? Her name is Cheyenne (The Crush)Messer. She won Grip and hit in south florida at 10 years old.She came back a year later and won it again. Then this past year she won the Florida States 142 lb womens open class. She is training with her uncle Buddy (monster hit )Griffiths. This past week she competed at and won the regionals.I am surprised that none of you people even mentioned her in the aftermath.I thought we wanted more women to come to this sport,if that is the case then we better start promoting them better than this or they will tell us to buzz off in the future.

Cheyenne is a beautiful classy girl, and she is as strong at 12 years old as most women are in a lifetime. A grip of steel! I ve been hunting for some competition for her under 142.... But she's mowed them all down. The hunt continues! What a strong family. Hope to see y'all in July! TK

And congrats to Buddy grifiths. Keep up the good work. I love the intensity you bring to the table. Even when I tried to calm you down in Florida from the bad call (arguably) at Florida states. Happens all the time. Too bad you wouldn't of had another match after that. You were pumped!!! Keep it up. We will meet up on the table again!!

Thank you Chop, cant wait to pull again . Cheyenne is truly a special breed so much stronger than even I imagined and at 12 years old she is a class act. Very respectful eager to learn and eager to find someone to beat her. Whos the next one to step up and get SMOKED BY CHEYENNE " THE CRUSH" MESSER

I think Holly can give Cheyenne something. She just got to start training again since being pregnant and nursing little man.

Ashley is cutting down for nationals but I dont think she will get down to that small a weight class, its unfortunate there is not more ladie competetion and that really is the reason women dont get the props they deserve even when they win

Pardon my messed up picture. This is my first post. My daughter is Taylor Johnson. At Mesquite NV she took third at Worlds Left and 5th Right in the 50KG youth division. She had wins over Canada, Brazil, and Russia. She had only been armwrestling for 3 months prior to Worlds. We train with James Retarides and his team. She won the right & left youth division at Get a Grip in NC back in Feb. and took 2nd (right and left) in the women’s open division only losing to Casey Martin. I talked to her and she would definitely like to pull Cheyenne. Barring unforeseen circumstances we will be at the Nationals in Buffalo in June and the Unified’s in August in Mobile, AL. What weight does Cheyenne generally come in at? Taylor will be shooting for the 50kg. class at Unified’s. God bless!
