Wow met Bill at NAA CT a few years ago and he was pretty good than, but what he did to Brett Rakers at UAE was the most impressive domination of a highly ranked champion i ever seen.
Congratulations Bill you have arrived !!!

Pretty sure Bill arrived some time ago... Holding his title belt for so long and never turning down a challenger.
But yes, Bill Logsdon is the man!!!

Pretty sure Bill arrived some time ago... Holding his title belt for so long and never turning down a challenger. But yes, Bill Logsdon is the man!!! I'm aware how long Bill has had the belt and who he has pulled, but he has never beaten a champion like Brent on this big of a stage IMO and the way he dominated tells me he has arrived as the man to beat at that weight in North America period. Again my Opinin

I can't speak to the domination but Bill beat Brent at the Arnold's , which IMO is a bigger stage than UAE. This is why I found it somewhat amusing when people were acting like Bill didn't have a chance righty.

I think its mind boggling that he is able to year after year defeat top level active pros. Bill doesn't travel a lot. Yet you throw him in any 198 class in North America and he always upsets people. Nobody is insulting Bill. It's just hard to believe.

Anyways, I think what Guy was saying is Bill vs. Brent, one on one, no outside variables, with money and titles on the line is as big as a stage can get regardless of if it is the Arnold's, UAE, or anywhere else. Its just a different feel when you factor in the one on one format. In my opinion.

Sorry if I offended you Pete. I didn't think stating that the Arnold's was a bigger stage was knock on your promotion? By bigger, I meant the Arnolds is the biggest fitness expo on the planet and thus you pull in front of more people. I see your point though on the one-on-one format with no outside variables. That takes out any question who was better that day.

Exactly Pete! 3-0 righty and each match was like pure destruction. I havent seen anything like that in a while. A the Arnolds someone can have a tough match and you get a good draw so best man doesnt always win/ I also believe Bill came 2nd at arnolds when he was there. Att 205 unless Mendez can beat him I think Bill is the best right now in NA . Brent is a great champion and he can say he was off or on doesnt matter, I just havent seen anything like this in a while. I say this because I give Brent the utmost respect .

No offense taken Josh. Just busting your stones. Plus I just feel that the Arnold's should be considered the BIG stage but it definitely has lost a ton in the "Elite" category. I think its become way too easy to qualify and alot of the prestige is gone.

Congrats Bill. You have been a BEAST for quite some time now, but there is no doubt that you should be #1 in the nation.

actually there is arguement!
Bill has seemed to have Brents number for quite some time, Brent is consistantly beating the best other than Bill, Bill was no contest for Mendez at KY Muscle who placed what 4th or 5th at the UAL.
Bill is bad ass but last time he beat Brent 2-0 he turned around and lost to Mike S twice I believe......so Bill could very well be the best in the US at 198 but I wanna see him pull some of the other top 5 guys before making that judgment .....is it the case that Brent has nothing for Bills style or is Bill finally stepping into those number 1 shoes?
either way with those kind of variables there will always be room for arguement ......RIGHT PETE!

Well since these guys were not 198 I doubt very much that it will affect the 198 rankings. There are no 205 rankings that I'm aware of so this match will most likely not change anything.
