Anyone driving into Louisville next weekend, if you coming from I-64 west of Louisville, the Sherman Minton bridge is CLOSED (I-64 bridge), you have to detour onto I265E around New Albany to hit I-65 S into Louisville. If you are coming from I-64 east of Louisville, there are detour signs there also that will take you to I-265/ Gene Snyder Freeway, (not the same I-265 as in Indiana, they don't connect), then you take I-71 S to hit I-65 or downtown Louisville. Also, if you arrive anytime from 3-7:30pm plan possibly an extra hour travel time (It's fun in Louisville with the bridge closed ) If you have any other questions, post here I'll try to help answer them.

Thanks for the head up Mike! Luckily, we aren't coming in on either of those highways and won't be getting in during that time frame!!! Lucky coincidence I guess

I-65 S is still gonna be backed up around rush hour, it's 1 of only 2 ways across the river, so just allow a little extra time. Good thing is it's a Saturday and not a weekday.

KDOT needs to check with pullers before pulling the trigger on major construction projects

Josh, alot of people feel that way around here, bridge has been closed for over a month now from cracks they found during a inspection, and they have no idea when it will be done
