Thanks Justin. That was all part of our evil plan to make the class interesting. It kind of worked...I guess.

I would but I am not putting my own finances on the line if I am not getting support from pullers in neighboring states or from the team in the northeast corner of our own state. One paid entry from the following states: GA, SC, VA as well as zero entries from ECA and TN. As a matter of fact, Mark Taggart is the only puller from TN that has ever supported one of our tournaments. Somehow, we still managed to get enough entries to pay the freight. I am grateful for the dedicated armwrestlers that travel and support. ECA=RIP....at least for the time being. James as far as we go out here, its just a bad time for us to train or make it to any tournaments. I know everyone of us would have loved to be at this last tourney you had, just as you have always supported ours. Life is just getting in the way right now. This whole year has been very little training or practicing for myself, transitioning out of the Navy and getting my life in order outside of armwrestling. Tommy just moved 4hrs away to Willmington, G.JR just moved and has been working 8 days a week, BIG.G is strong as ever and looks ready, just pulled him this last weekend and is EFFING STRONG. Keith, Ray, Story's everyone kind of just handling theire own biz. All i'm getting at is really to be as gracious to you as possible and let you know that future events you have WILL be supported. Its hard to see a tournament of yours come and go and be on ARMTV with none of us representing.... Chris Heath is one of our boys though. The 54s looked outstanding, fun to watch. I'm 0-2 against Fraley left handed and had ZERO problem picking him to win the lefty class. He is for real. If I had done any cutting at all, I could have pulled the 54s, i've been walking around about 166-68. ANYWAYS.....We're all keeping up on whats going on, so, you guys that want a shot and we werent there to pull. Let it be known, we ain't running from NOBODY. Just taking a breather, thats all. I'm about as confident as ANYONE...just ask me ;D Later James

I feel ya James. Sorry we couldn't make it. I have hardly ever missed one under 6hrs away. And never one you've done in the Charlotte area (even went white plains). But we just moved in our new house that Mon and I had to work, and yeah we've said for a while that ECA was pretty much G.T.A. and now G is in another town and T is in Wilmington and A lives in Texas. So, it's gonna be tuff for a while since we haven't been able to recruit much new talent in the past 4yrs. We do have a couple of new big dudes coming around my dads and I still got be G to hang from so hopefully I wont fall too far off. Between hunting season and my sorry right elbow I won't get serious again till Jan. Maybe we'll take a field trip and come practice with yall sometime around then.
Sincerely, ECA puller of the year 2009

We would love to have you down Giles. You are welcome anytime. You one of the few that had the decency to at least let me know you couldn't make it and I appreciate that!

Aaron, you, Giles and Tommy had legit excuses. The rest did not. At least twice a year for the past four years I have made it up to support the tournaments up there. I haven't missed one of them and it wasn't because I wanted to be the Outer Banks Champ again. I also recruited as many teammates as I could to come with up there, but anyway....You have a bunch of part-time pullers up there; that's a fact. It sure is not like it used to be where people supported one another just because. That is a big part of why the talent level at tournaments has diminished. Anyhow, I am not putting on anymore tournaments and I am not supporting tournaments of directors that don't support ours. I had a good turnout of pullers from Alabama so I will go there. James, I really appreciate the help and support that you've given ECA in years past. I have been to several tournaments in the Charlotte area dating back as far as '07, including the last SEAC. In the past years I've had a bit of hard luck. Including lost two jobs to shut down, lost the bank to a divorce, sold my vehicles for money, owe back taxes to the federal goverment because i was to broke to pay taxes on unenployment, been through a mortgage foreclosure on my new place, and recently started a new apprenticeship at entry level, and going to school at night while driving a piece of sh*t car. Currently the investments are gone and the checking account is empty and we won't talk about how many months behind the mortgage is. Also I injured my elbow about two months ago which is why i haven't been practicing or competing. This is pretty pathetic that i would go this far to explain a little about my financial situation, but in this case it's warranted. Please take these mere excuses to put me in consideration for the "Legit excuses column" as number four since you are publicly determining who's absence is legit or not.

Justin, I would love to come to Alabama but Get A Grip is Feb. 4th and is in my home town. I was hoping you would make it up here to give me a rematch.
