All of you are manimals. I get a practice in a week for 3 hours and I am sore (muscles) for the better part of 4 or 5 days, then I don't want to do anything for the next 2 days before practice, lol.
Although I will do a ton of static stuff even when sore, but on straight regular angles. No side pressure, no hand work. I would rather use the statics to train my muscle bellys, and table time to train my muscle memory, tendons and technique.

Hand work and side pressure are crazy important to get to the next level

I pull an one practice every three to six mo and train only bodybuilding and powerlifting five plus days a week, not even a wrist curl. Has been that way since I live with m todd three yrs ago. I'm just saying damn you guys haveamazingtendons to pull that much a week. If I were to mess up a bodybuildingworkout cause of pulling I wouldn't pull for six mo. Hint y u haven't seen me at all in 2011. But great job to all taking the time. I will train a lilto beat tom Nelson this yr butthats all and only a lil!)

Chris I saw a picture of you not too long ago, and DAMN! You look like you train 24 hours a day, very impressive. The Armbenders train twice a month, And I train 5 days a week All day in my truck during the day, and One hour at night. Since I began armwrestling my work outs have changed dramatically from what I was used to. True story, I will record my workout routine during the week and send it to Tom Nelson, he will tell me what I'm doing wrong, or he will say what I'm doing is correct. Technology is pretty cool. Training by text messages.

Last year I stepped up my armwrestling training and it helped a TON:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: Light morning workout (Armwrestling specific) with heavy table pulley workouts with a Bowflex and hand and wrist workouts.
Gym workouts: 4 - 5 days a week strictly for power and armwrestling.
Practice at least once every two weeks.
Now I'm focusing more on MMA so I only practice every month or so, but I train MMA Monday, Wednesday, Friday and lift strictly for power in the gym Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
From what I can tell my new routine isn't hurting my armwrestling too much though.

My recommendation is if you want to be a real athlete, train like a real athlete does for any other sport. That's the main difference between the majority of US pullers and the Eastern Europeans, aside from a few "other" things....
