Alot of talk about the hook, but who is the best 154 period. I would have to say Rick Soliwada or Bryon Thomas. Both are from Pa.

As mentioned before throw in these four guys and let the war begin, pending who pulls who first, I think it can go any direction
Simon B Devin B Rick S Bryon T throwing in Ray H would sure stir the pot.

Rick has nothing by a long shot, with or without Bryon Thomas. if Bryon is at this weight then he or Simon is at the top of this list right now. IMO if Not..then its between Rick and Simon. Ray has really come on lately, but I just dont think he has enough power in him for Simon right now. Maybe i am wrong. JMO. Roger the Train needs to pull more than pull okay at one event a year to make this list. So till he wins something or has strong showings in a few events, I dont consider him here either. Devin belongs on this list for sure.

Why are we even talking about all this crap constantly? Lets just go pull!!!!! I swear it only gets me more fired up to see everyone "predicting" who the best is. Yes I know we don't get any attention in this class, but we will. And yes I know none of you know who I am, but alot of people have made that mistake, and none of them like to talk about it. I'm angry and pissed, so lets just hurry up and friggin pull. You will know me by the trail of the dead.

Matl'e when we cannot pull we talk about pulling, that's what happens when you are obsessed with the sport. All you have to do is show up where we are and prove it, that is all up to you. Engin no question in my book you are the best 154 and under in the world, you have substantiated it time and time again, anyone that knows this sport knows that one match or one event means very little in the grand scheme of things. My personal picks World Engin EAF Engin NA Vern US Rick S Clovis California Simon

If Wayne Burns would come out of retirement he would definitely be in the running. In Finland he and Dave Hicks had some great battles with Wayne winning the right, Dave the left.

Oh I'll be there to pull for sure. This class is to good not to actually go and pull against the best. I'm not mad at anyone or anything. I just want us all to pull to see who the best is. And yes you are right simon, because all I talk about is this anyways also. Jay we have never pulled. I just came back after not pulling for 5 years, so I am just as out of it as you. When I broke my left arm 5 years ago, I thought that I would never pull again since I'm left handed, but now my right is smokin, and my left has come back. So I feel good enough to pull against the best. I will have to prove it for sure, no doubt. Its just surviving with out going nuts until then that kills me. We as 154's are bigger stronger and quicker than we have ever been before. Lets make the tv networks wish they would have taken notice earlier!!

I think there are a few 154s from days past that might take umbrage with this remark, perhaps, Dave Patton, Ray Patton (a strap master at 150 pounds) Gabe Accardi, Norm Devio, Michael Shalhoub, Craig Tullier, R.J. Molinere, Jerry Avants, Wayne Burns, Brian Shea and many others would disagree.
And that's just off the top of my head, I am sure others would have more to add.
