Oh boy, Unbelievable, the guy, probably has 20-30 Nat titles from 220 ( with that ugly hat he used to wear lol),242 and supers in the 30 or so yrs he's been doing this "sport". He has stated on here, that he doesn't train for this "sport" anymore and concentrates on benching. Benches in the 600s, at his age, over 50.
Although the NAA (Really Pete Milano, what a horrible guy) got him to pull Devon in a SUPER match ( see the difference people?)at our NAA Black Bear tournaments.

Funny this subject came up. I talked with Dave on the phone yesterday. He said that he dont pull anymore but MIGHT make an appearence at the SEC regionals in March.
But the man has, is, and always be a good friend.

dave Randall is one of my favorite people ive ever met. one of the best refs you will ever see. an all around cool cat.
Bob Watson showed me some old Lakeland GA practice videos of Dave when he was 220. hard to believe.
i rememeber hangin with Cleve and Dave at my first tournament in Albany in 2007. good people.

Dave took the time to talk and pull me when i was 15 yrs old gave a load of advice and encouraged me to work harder ! when I was 19 i barely lost to Robert Webb and it was Mr. Randall that came up and encouraged me again ! He is a true Champion and i wish him the best of luck with chasing the bench record !

Of all the ways someone could describe Dave Randall, "under rated" is not one. Maybe someone who is a rookie might be ignorant of Dave's record. I can believe that. But that's not someone I'd be asking opinions from in the first place.
No knowledgeable armwrestler on this Earth thinks David Randall is under, or over, rated. The man is a living legend.

Dave was a ref at a 154lbs super match that I was in a few years ago. As a ref, he was a very respectful gentleman, and fair. As for a competitor, it is always exciting to watch that kind of power at the table. All around good guy…I was just thankful one of his arms didn’t fall off the table and crush me!

The guy is an AW Legend, benches 600, and owns his own strip club; "hero" not "underrated" would be how I describe him.
