Watched this on Arm TV today, not sure if there's been a better tournament as far as quality of competitors ever, from top to bottom, this event was epic. Not sure of the exact pay out in each class, I know it paid pretty well down to 3rd place in all weight classes in addition to a brand new Harley Davidson. Hats off to Mike Bowling for providing the sport with an event few have rivaled today!!!

Best tournament i've ever been to. Kicked off my armwrestling career there going undefeated in the AMS class at the last Harley Pull in 2009. Got worked the next day in the pro class. I would go out of my way to make sure and attend this tourney if Mike ever brings it back. Great tournament.

That event was sick! Kenny Hughes climbing on top of the table to try to press Crazy George! The Engin / Dave Patton match was epic. Marcio up on the balcony with his shirt off flexing, LOL. Totraz Tamaev catching Bill Ballinger and then smashing him. That was pure craziness. Like you said, one dream match after another.

Would love to see a Eric Roussin article on Mike Bowling and his Harley tournaments,BRILLIANT!!! I think his "blueprint" for promoting a tournament could be used today. Someone correct me if i'm wrong, he would have 10 tables reserved for each sponsor at 1000.oo each, this would cover most of the price of the Harley and entry fees would cover prize money, $$$$$ all over the place making it easy for top pullers to attend and recover at least part of travel expenses. Again I welcome corrections, I believe the 1st event the Harley went to the overall champion, you will never guess who won , yes John Brzenk, I'm sure this was the reason Mike started giving keys to all open weight class winners and overall winners, probably concerned John wouldn't have the garage space to store all the future Harleys he won.Lol The mini bike was another huge draw for this event, again Imo, outside the box thinking, that brought pullers who might not attend if their kids couldn't compete . Part of me feels strongly that Mike created this event out of frustration, after traveling all over the nation and coming home with a ribbon, certificate or trophy. For some odd reason those prizes seem to lose their appeal after a few years. I would love to see more Harley pulls, but I think an event that had 5000.oo could be attractive to most top pullers to attend. 10 sponsors at $500 a piece seems possible in certain areas not hit so hard by the economic downfall. That venue , out in the middle of nowhere was PERFECT ,not a bad seat in the house. Oh yeah, I almost forgot the after party, 2nd only to Worlds, the 09 event where all the wrestling was going on , funny to see John rolling around and Ryan Clark pulling people around with that belt on his neck. CLASSIC!!!!!!!

I to would come to this event if he ever had another. The best was the one when he gave the Mini bikes Damn sure brought a tear to the eyes of some tough guys.

LMAO..U nut!.You're just saying that cause in 02 I beat Eric W 3 times to win the SUPERS left.....LMAO 01, my 1st pull back after breaking my arm and my 1st draw was Earl Wilson, the reigning WArmwrestlingF Supers LEFT Champion, AND I WON! Eventually ended up in 5th. not TO bad. I figured I may have something in this "armwrestling". Then went to the AAA Nats and go 2nd to Cleve.. BTW: SAME BADA$$ES in 01 as in 02
