I thought it might also be interesting to see what people think are the worst places to live in North America if you're an armwrestler. Which states/areas have very few or no tournaments, few events within a reasonable driving distance, virtually no clubs or experienced pullers, etc.?
In Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador, the Yukon, the Northwest Territories, and Nunavut have zero armwrestling that I'm aware of.
I know some states have very few events (e.g. Delaware), but at least there are several tournaments in the surrounding area.
I would think that there may be room for growth in some of these underserved markets.

Eric, the northwest area has good pullers. We're just not as loud about it as others. In comparison, the northwest (Washington,Oregon,Idaho) There's only a handfull of groups over here. hopefully that will change in the coming years.

Mississippi: I've been pulling over 30 years and only heard of one tournament there. And it was a flop. And only met 3 armwrestlers from there.

St. Louis, MO but we're working hard to restore it to its former glory. When Don Underwood had the East vs. West tournament here the KC guys had more guys in every class and it was in St. Louis! Unbelievable.

Ha, I read the title and hopped in to say Mississippi, only I'd already been beaten by two others. Yes, as a resident of MS I can say its at the least one of the worst. No events, hardly any armwrestlers, and a bizillion mosquitos. In fact the only table time I've gotten I had to pay the guys gas money to get him here. If I didn't have a solid job I'd move. Incase I was unclear ... My votes for Mississippi!
One quick pro: it's relatively centraly located for the south so even though there's no tourneys here I can drive to most the other states.

NE NC now that tommy and aaron b left!!!! We have a bunch clowns that armwrestle, read this board daily, watch armtv, but have no desire to train together weekly or even monthly....also there are no more tourneys for the rest of 2012 that are less than 6hrs away...so with no team and no tourneys im left with very little motivation to train for my 2nd favorite hobby.
