Didn't this supermatch already happen, and Snook won 3-0? September 2010 iirc.
DeNardo looked like a BEAST (I saw some videos), but why have him pull someone heavier that has already beat him? Why not have him pull a 54 guy that is ranked above him (Corey, Geoff, Vazgen, Sheldon, Rivas)?

Pretty sure Rich will be in CT for nationals in June. Not to jynx it, or put any pressure on him, but I'm predicting a sweep in the 54's. Even Ron Ermini couldn't do anything with Rich after the tourney in MA last weekend, and Ermini toprolls with Klemba and Snook.. I for one know that Rich doesn't train as often as I'd like to see. Hope that changes, maybe see a trip to worlds... Who knows.

Mr. Josselyn, let me give you a different angle to look at it from.. Styles make matches. I don't think I'm shedding any light on anything so I don't mind throwing this out there. My weakness for a few years has NOT been my bicep, or my side pressure..... Rich's style seems to attack those two things... I'm sure Rich is stronger than he was in '10, which I'm light years past where I was in those areas(bi/side) where he attacks. Going to the strap is a bad move for pretty much anyone imo... My last tournament I got one of my biggest wins IMO over Simon...in the strap (not an easy feat my friend..) and went on to win the '98's as well. He's a strong dude no doubt, but historically his move hasn't been my worst style to pull. With all that said, who knows, he could thump my a$$, no one knows for sure...except Rick Couto LMAO!
Marinos, only pulled Ron one time. I do believe he had a battle with Siska, and I was pulling the 76's as well....although I did win both classes.. Probably not a good indicator imo Ron K, and Ron E's style is different from mine...it may APPEAR to be similar, but not so much..

After tourney pulling means nothing. There are no ready gos and no adrenaline. I've beaten lots of guys after tournaments that I can't beat during. And guys have beat me after tournament pulling that don't beat me in the tournament. Going on that is wrong. But you never really know till they hook up

Hey Snook, I couldn't agree more about the styles thing. I wasn't trying to say that because Denardo went through Ron and Ron that he'd be able to go through you too. Guess it kinda sounded that way. I was just backing up my statement that he'd probably sweep the 54's in CT, even if a great toproller shows up. (I didn't vote in the poll btw because like Josh, I don't agree with the matchup). And Alan, you're absolutely correct. Especially because I watched Rich let Ermini go and then brought him down, whereas in a tourney, Rich hits like a truck.. I'm fully aware after pulling is completely different than tourney performance, as I do my best pulling after (hate that btw). But there's no reason you can't determine someone's strength index from pulling a few with them after. Again, it doesn't show you how they compete, just where or how they're strong. And Ermini, nothing against you in all this you're still the man! Haha

Rich looks strong but Snook is the man at this time. If it happned I would take snook for 200 Watching there last match snook had total hand control. Snook looks better in recent then he did then so I just dont see him losing thisone JMO.

I only put this out there because Denardo showed up at 165 not 154. I know from reading this board Snook is the man In the 176.

I thought Ermini looked very strong!!!!! He slammed KLemba in the straps which is a big feat. I also know that ermini is a veteran of the sport so don't think that he is a 1 trick pony..

You are very correct, John. I have nothing but respect for Ron. Like I said, he's the man! Just reporting on what happened. I was one of those guys Rich was taking down afterward too :/

Rich is a freak and very well could be the best 54 in the country right handed but snook already owned him. Not much of a match there. But denardo/fritche or denardo/hale or denardo/vazgen would be awesome. IMO Rich can beat any of those guys or any other american 54 you put in front of him
